I just want a different network to pick this up because it could be incredible. I want to see more of Lucas’s backstory and how he still struggles with being angry. I want to see what made him the way he was and the way he’s fighting to not be. The show doesn’t portray it very much and I wish they had.
I relate to Mya so much when she went "oooooooh" seeing Lucas getting tough. One time in the school cafeteria I saw an acquaintance of mine getting into a fight and he punched the other guy in the face and you could hear the punches. Another guy even jumped in to save his friend and also got beat up. I almost lost it that day.
When I was a kid, my group had s Lucas. He didn't look like it. A short round boy with a heart of solid gold. He threatened a boy because he was spreading nasty stuff about me when we dated. He walked me home carrying. Branch when I was threatened. We had everyone. It was the 90s so I guess you could call me topanga or riley. We had a farkle too. It was a small group. " it's small and its broken. But it's still a family"
i love lucas, other characters like him would be just the cute boy who is perfect in every way, but he's with a personality of a good person, that his caring for his friends can bring him to do bad stuff.
Lol this isn't a dark side. This is an extremely protective loyal friend. I hate how gmw portrays "Texas Lucas" as a villian. Glad Zay is always there to explain it's not angry Lucas it's protective Lucas.
I think he has more personality when he's like that, I hate what the writers did to him. He may not be as smart as Riley, Farkle and Smackle but he had a lot of good grades in season 1 and that should be enough for someone like him. And they also gave him no background story except that he had a grandfather who considered him a disgrace. And you know what's funny? Nigel, the kid who used to sit behind farkle in season 2 has more background story than Lucas and he is a background character
Lucas doesn't like his dark side anymore. Lucas doesn't want to be like Maya anymore. "It's who he used to be, Maya. It cost him a year of his life, I think maybe he learned something."
I wish the actor who plays lucas and the one who plays maya would play haymitch abernathy and maysilee donner if they were to ever cast a movie specifically based on haymitch
Number 1 It's a Disney show. Number 2 he realized Lucas was stronger than him and so instead of going into a losing fight he backed off. It'd be stupid if he continued just to get beat.

When i first watched this it was a love triangle Between lucus, maya and Riley but between lucus and riley they have a cute relationship together but for lucus and maya they have more chemistry because when lucus gets angry maya calms him down like for riley she supports him, and for maya she understands him more then riley so lucus has more feelings for maya then riley does
