Looking back at Lucas and Maya and their relationship, I can totally see them finding their way back to each other years later as adults. They each had growing to do, and while he and Riley were “endgame” in the show, it was a relationship of perceived, childlike love. Infatuation, and it wouldn’t last. He and Maya though, their relationship was mature from the beginning and they had to grow into their love and I like to think they fully did. Years later.

I feel as if Lucaya is that ship that is always "in another lifetime". Some ships are in every lifetime, every iteration of the world but Lucaya, Lucaya I feel is that one where it will always be "in another lifetime."

The fact that the show twisted and tried to make us believe that maya saw Lucas the way Riley did it was extremely messed up because we can all agree the chemistry started long before that

"If you care about me, go to Riley, tell her you love her" -Maya to Lucas "It's Maya who did that for Riley because that's who Maya is" -Lucas to Farkle and Zay. Let's get real here, Lucas was going to choose Maya but she told him to choose Riley and he did it because he's in love with Maya and that's what she wanted him to do. They both knew that Riley would not have been able to handle not being chosen. I mean, look how she acted when someone didn't want to be her friend, it would have been a million times worse if he didn't go to her... the whole clique six would have been destroyed.

i genuinely believe they found their way back to each other as adults, smthn abt their relationship wasn't ready yet but the chemistry was there and the potential for a long lasting relationship was sm more than him and riley

The Episode when Lucas used the jellybeans to decide who was the better girl, He mentioned how he enjoyed Maya calling him silly names and ha-hurring in his face but in the Ski lodge episode when she asked him face to face if he liked their little game, He said No. The writers really made up stupid reasons as to why Lucas and Maya weren’t good for eachother

I don't ship them but I do think they should have gotten together. More chemistry and simply the fact that Maya always gives up everything for her friends and in that scene it could show Riley doing the same for her, to show their close relationship. Just story wise their relationship makes a lot more sense. (At least temporary and a little longer than what that was lol)

I mean they were SO MUCH better than Rucas. I feel like that was true love and not a "fairy tale" love like Riley wants it to be. They complete and help each other. They accept each other for who they are. P. S. Just wanna say they RILEY kissed Lucas while it was LUCAS who tried to kiss Maya. I mean, it is pretty different😍😍😍❤️ Video very well edited, keep up like this❤️LOVED IT😍❤️
