She has won countless awards in the last several years. She is going to be in 4 movies in the next year and is probably doing the best of any African American actors in Hollywood. She has been getting some great roles.

@@kkandsims4612 I don't totally disagree with you. However the initial comment was that Octavia Spencer was "finally" getting some interesting roles as if she wasn't getting any good roles before this movie coming out. I think it is pretty obvious that she is.

@@sohisakie2237 I wouldn't say that. They are not angels, but neither are any of the characters, really. The chief apparatus of the movie is its ambiguity and complexity; it's about flawed people mishandling power and privilege on almost every level. No one is lionized or 100% a villain.
