Lucha Underground season 2 was possibly the best wrestling show ever. Just so great. Also it's weird to think that Kobra Moon was played by Thunder Rosa, isn't it?
Agreed. Mil muertes ruling the temple for the 1st half then monster cueto.coming and running havoc. Plus the graver consequences match between mil muertes vs monster cueto
Definitely agreed. Made my best friend watch it after we moved in together and he instantly fell in love as well. And he’s not really the type to do that
Yes, he retired the move by a injury in the knee (started to use the Springboard Leg Drop and Splashes), but actually he rarely uses. The last time was in 2019 in the 2-out-of-3 Falls match against Andrade.
Man, all that's springin' to my mind RN is that Match where Taya got systematically destroyed by Cage 😲😆 That kinda stuff summed Lucha up pretty... divine insanity 🥳
Woah that standing Spanish fly...paul burchill used to use that move. Will never forget that he got buried because he was getting bigger pops than John Cena
I forgot, one of the things LU did that WWE nor AEW has yet to really do is tackle gender quality it a competent way. I'm tired of how the other companies will say how equal they are but will refrain so much from a woman taking an intentional bump from a guy no matter how often she'll lay her hands on the men first.. I mean heck, often it's seen as empowering if the woman is a face and topples a guy but if a dude does, it's either on "accident" or it's a heel being treat like he's an abuser who's committed murder
They never even made a big deal about it. It's just, "Yeah, this is Dario Cueto's mystical underground wrestling promotion, ain't no rules here, and these gals wouldn't be here if they couldn't handle anything on Earth... or from el Inframundo, outer space, the Aztec gods....
10. End of the World/Shooting Star 9. Wrath of the Gods 8. Dragon's Lair 7. (Avalanche) Spanish Fly 6. Drill Claw 5. Fenix Driver 4. Fall of the Angels 3. Thrill of the Kill 2. West Coasr Pop 1. Fear Factor
He says “whip of the Dragon’s tail into the LAIR,” referring to the completed move as the Dragon’s Lair. That move was also referred to multiple times as the Dragon’s Lair in season one, so try again.
@@8cutstrings no offense but weak since most of his stuff looks weak anyways, hence why without something stupid like the dick suplex hes a lower mid card at best.
It’s been a while since I watched Lucha Underground, and I never watched every episode, but I don’t remember him ever doing that move on the show. In fact, I don’t recall him using that move anywhere until after that show had already ended. Meaning he probably hadn’t invented it/adopted it yet at this time. Kinda hard to feature a clip of a move he didn’t do. Just because a move is on a wrestlers wiki, doesn’t mean they’ve used it on every show they’ve ever been on.
