My first Sabicas Cover! I usually like to play much more modern solo pieces on guitar but decided to do something different this time and see how it sounds like if I tried one of the Classics by Maestro Sabicas.
I apologize in advance for having modernize it a little..? I wanted to play it but not just the way it's written note by note, I wanted to learn it and then let myself go and see what happens.
I learned it by the Maestro Grisha Goryachev by watching his video and stunning performance in GSI over here:

@@LucianoGhosnI've first heard Con Garbo y Salero more than 20 years ago, played by Grisha, and it's what got me into playing flamenco guitar. That's the best interpretation of it I've ever heard since then. At some times I felt like you were playing falsetas in a way that I've only heard from Paco Peña, it was very beautiful. Bravissimo!

Vous êtes le guitariste flamenco vivant que je préfère. J'attendais avec impatience que ce que vous venez de faire vous le fassiez encore plus. C'est-à-dire prendre toute la liberté d'interprétation que vous désirez. Merci et bravo j'ai beaucoup aimé. Les multiples transitions et certains passages sont magiques. ❤

Sabicas is still my favourite and I have a lot of his old records on Vinyl! For me Paco was Sabicas mixed with Nino Ricardo, then in the 70's he took harmony to the next level! Paco is still god, but Sabicas is the link to the past that we can never forget. great version.

Eres un todo terreno no hay nada imposible sea de paco de lucia de vicente amigo sabicas que eres el mejor ole y ole de corazón maestro tienes arte a la hora de interpretar una canción tienes agilidad en las manos rapidez en los picados magia duende terror dulzura sentimiento ilusion lo tienes todo te lo digo porque el guitarrista tiene la sensacion de no saber ni se valora realmente lo que vale y tu vales mucho.

Great interpretation! Of course this is not classical and must not be played note for note as the original, what does matter is the spirit - the duende of the style which is more than present.

Et je viens d'écouter Grisha Goryachev et je préfère votre son plus claquant (blanca/nigra peut-être) mais l'enregistrement aussi. Les passages de trémolo il les fait mieux dans les sens où le trémolo n'a quasi pas de variations de puissance aux changements d'accords. Par contre en picatto je vous trouve beaucoup plus précis. Quant a l'interprétation et à l'arrangement il n'y a pas photo ! C'est votre version que je préfère.
