Addio, fiorito asil Di letizia e d'amor Sempre il mite tuo sembiante Con strazio atroce vedrò? Addio, fiorito asil Non reggo al tuo squallor Ah, non reggo al tuo squallor Fuggo, fuggo, ah, son vil Addio, non reggo al tuo squallor Ah, son vil Ah, son vil👍 This anguished arietta comes when Lt. Pinkerton sees that Butterfly has waited three years for him to return from America. He does not have the courage to face her and the child she bore, so he leaves.
Actually, Leone Magiera (Pavarotti's childhood friend and conductor from many concerts), did this very very often. Because Luciano never learned to read music at all. And he did all by memory. It is normal that sometimes, memory fails and if you have a ringing voice, in terms of squillante, is normal that the note goes down or up, most of the times goes up. That's why Leone gives him the entry.
@@sauronbaggins1833 I don't understand why it was necessary. I'm not a singer. but if I had been there, i wouldn't have needed such "help." if that's what it is.
@@sauronbaggins1833 Come to think of it, I now remember once singing the wrong note. I had been hijacked into a choral group, and I finally understood that the guy next to me was trying to tell me that I was singing at the wrong pitch.I changed, and he was satisfied. AMAZING. I am not a singer and I, like everyone, can't reach certain pitches, but it had never occurred to me that i might UNKNOWINGLY be singing off key. So I'm not perfect after all. Oh, and I learned that any group of randomly assorted people can probably not give as good a performance as an established choral group. Hard to take, but I guess it's so. I might add that I have no interest in choral music.I don't hate it, but I'm always wondering why such a thing exists to the extent it does.People (choristers) are funny.
INEGALABLE PERSONNE N A CHANTE ADIO FIORITO ASIL AUSSI BIEN A NOTEZ QUE C EST L OPERA PREFERE DE madame colombo on entend cet aria dans un episode de colombo
@@michaelashby1067It's not that, it's just that not all tenors can sing any tenor role, Pavarotti is a lyric-leggero tenor, maybe this aria is too heavy for him
@@ariasemusicaslegendadas7657c'est un rôle qui lui correspond totalement. Il suffit de l'écouter et là par ailleurs nous sommes en 1990 hein. Écoute le en entier en 1974
