Luciano Pavarotti, Isola Jones, Christiane Eda-Pierre and Louis Quilico sing the act III quartet from Rigoletto. Live 1981 - Rigoletto - The Metropolitan opera orchestra condcuted by James Levine
John 11:41-44 So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. I knew that You always hear Me, but I said this on account of the people standing around, that they may believe that You sent Me." When He had said these things, He cried out with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out." The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Unbind him, and let him go."
I viewed it entirely the other days on the met's streaming, downloaded as well . Well, there were just the big names there. Pavarotti was Pavarotti, the big name. Just selling his name. Didn't like the other parts interpreters . In sum no emotion. For the US and the Met was just fine. Not for the Scala, not for a historical theater in Italy 🇮🇹 Not for the loggione! 😁
