After this interview, eight months later, he passed away. So sad, a great artist had left us. May God bless his soul. Great man, so wonderful humble man too.
He truly looks happy to be seeing himself sing again. He looks happy and sad at the same time. My heart aches looking at him, like this. I wish I was able to be with him, to tell him how much I loved his personality and his voice, how he has inspired me. He will never ever be forgotten and will stay within my heart, forever, I promise.
@@fabioengroff507 Because it's spoken without the full oral extension of Spanish and quieter than the bravado of Italian. Lastly, unlike Spanish, the Portuguese language held onto more of the linguistic influence left over from the Moorish occupation of the Iberian peninsula. Its mysterious, intriguing and challenging to master much like it's exotic people.
He was a great artist with an unbelievable voice, but also so much more. You can see he was a great man with a warm loving personality and a big golden heart. It’s so sad that his death was so cruel. It aches my heart that after all he gave to the world, he had to suffer so much and leave too early - he didn’t even get to enjoy his retire or watch his youngest child grow. 😰 But I hope he’s happy in heaven now. Rest in peace, maestro. We love you - and we miss you dearly. You will never be forgotten. Never. ❤️
My only regret is that i never saw him live.I though he would be around forever.People loved him not only for his music, but for his charities and wonderful nature.A true gift to us.Godspeed MAESTRO.
My wife gave me the wonderful gift of tickets to see him and Annalisa Rispagliosi in Biloxi, MS of all places. If I recall right, it was in 2000. Absolutely spellbinding. What a rare opportunity it was, and I will never forget it.
I cant imagine the thoughts he must've had seeing his younger self in magnificent voice and knowing that he had such a short time left..... RIP maestro....
Grandissimo......... Ci manchi tantissimo Luciano!!!!!!! R.I.P. Campione!!!!!!!!
If I could have spoken to him I would have thanked him for making me cry when I needed to be soften, healed my heart when I was hurt and gave me a glimpse of what Angel's will sound like in Heaven.
It was very heartbreaking to see such a tenor with a beautiful magnificent voice to make his last appearance. His voice will live on forever. We know that all things must eventually come to an end. Pavorotti was one of the greatest tenors of all time next to Benimino Gigli, Maestro Guiseppe Moretti, Caruso, Placido Domingo, and Hosea Carreas. His beautiful tenor voice and his persona on stage will be missed.
Poor Luciano. He was battling bravely pancreatic cancer. There have been some rumors that he recorded sacred music during his battle with cancer, when he felt better. I wish it could be heard.
The best of all times. Without Luciano Pavarotti no more tenors around. No more charities also. We miss him tremendous and I listen to his performance over and over.
Their will never be another Pavarotti...you could see him in this video, that he had lost so much weight and the Cancer was progressing....Loved him, always will...
Yes! Thank you! I don't understand the language but I could tell that's what he was talking about. One of the things I loved about Pavarotti was that he not only knew his music at almost a cellular level but that he was also wonderful at - and took great joy in - helping others understand it. A wonderful man, sadly missed but always loved.
Everybody misses sr.Pavarotti,he had pancreatic Cancer which kills roughly 6 months after diagnosis,so When Pavarotti was diagnosed,he died maybe 1 year later,he will be remembered as will Mario Lanza, for his love for his fellow man,and God.He was charitable.May he rest in peace.
I simply cannot watch this vid w/out tears. This wonderful man still giving himself to his audience when he, at this time, knew he was dying and everyone in the studio knew, you can see it on their faces when they see him, and those around the world who followed him, knew. II Maestro had his faults, as we all do, and I realize that he could no longer sing/perform at the level he demanded of himself, but couldn't God have given Pava a few more years with us just to hear him talk to us and
I always hope that those great and unique talents will stay forever on this planet. Like they are immortal, but they are not. They are only human like you and me. Luciano Pavarotti's talent will stay with us forever in all his videos and music. Rest In Peace great tenor, the greatest of them all....
Luciano was the greatest tenor. It will be extremely difficult to find someone like him. There is nobody today to near him ( excuse me all fans of the new tenors). At the time and later a few months his personal manager Terry Robson announced he was working on a recording of sacred songs. Unfortunately we will probably never know if he actually recorded during that period. He was extremely courageous and fought pancreatic cancer with all he could. He is a hero. Forever.
The great tenor looked very sick I wish I could have had someone pray for him to recover,he was a great tenor, there will never be another great, one like the Maestro,May he rest in peace.God bless him,and all his family, and colleagues, the make life a blessing.!
+phillipleboa you religious fucks just want to feel special so you bring up God to give you a reason to live! Whatever keep believing in God,unicorns, and Santa dumbfuck a!
+phillipleboa Uhm, well correct me if I'm wrong. There's no evidence to support your God. Not hating, just sayin. So, until proof is brought upon this court God is still fiction. Just like Muhammed and Buddha. What you choose to BELIEVE however is entirly up to you, but don't go around dissing people that doesn't share your believes.
+Isay Hi No need for foul language. We got your point. Misery loves company. The need for people to believe don't make them religious #%@&. Your mother really did a number on you.
true natural talent an to think he toured Australia with The Joan Sutherland Opera Co. and those 2 together were no doubt in their prime! what wonderful voices both individually and together!
To see this great man live must have been an experience of the soul. Unfortunately I never did get to hear hm live, I am sure it would be one of the wonders of the world, his voice had such emotion. 🙏 RIP Luciano Pavarotti , your gift lives on in our hearts!
Aloha to Luciano Pavarotti , panchupin, and RU-vid !!!!! Luciano's legacy will live forever !!!!!! Am 79 years old and his songs have blessed and extended my life span. Thank you so very much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, Robert S.J. Hu September 23, 2021.
I was so in tears when i thought he was alive today i just fell in love with him and his music when i heard him. I did no he past years ago oh it broke me in two. So sad...
Saudações do Brasil pra você!
What a perfect description of the man and the performer. I truly believe he loved to sing ....period and loved to perform as he loved people from all walks. RIP Maestro. I just wish I got to see you in person....even from the farthest, highest row in the opera theater.
his voice sounds weak, and he has lost, but that eternal smile, so missed, that voice, that personality, that generous nature. full of love for all mankind.
I watched this on the Rai when it was broadcast. I was devastated to see his condition. He wasn't in the studio because he was so ill. The woman on the set wearing the turban is Giulietta Simionato who was recovering from surgery (at age 97). The program was actually dedicated to Arturo Toscanini.
A lot of people say it's the same as spannish, but italian is way simpler. Can tell you, took spannish classes, couldn't understand a thing. Took Italian classes. Easy as saying hello
Riposa in pace, Maestro Pavavorotti.
One of the greatest tenors to ever live, also Carlos Marin from IL Divo, another stunning voice taken too soon. RIP PAVAROTTI, may god go with you buddy ❤
