I just got a queen size 12” hybrid one and cannotttttttt waitttttttt to try mine after waiting a few days. I fell in love with a friend of mines Lucid mattress. After only a few seconds I fell asleep. I was like I MUST KNOW what mattress this is, because it’s AAAAAAMAZING!!!
Lucid must have changed things since you got your mattress. They now send a safety blade with the mattress to make it easy to open the packaging. (They also send a door hanger tag that says "room service" on one side and "do not disturb, Netflix in progress" on the other side.. which I think is awesome)😁
I love the adorable dog. I bought the Lucid hybrid mattress with the latex and it arrived today. So thanks for posting these easy clear instructions. I'll be following your channel from now on.
I love how people keep saying "watch how you open it" by using *everything but* scissors and cutting slowly. Everyone's always got a janky knife or box cutter that they hold directly into the mattress
I put a mattress topper on my new queen size. I don't plan to remove the covering off the mattress because the chemicals used to make it are toxic & unsafe to breathe in.
I have started to be interested in softer mattresses because as soon as I got my current medium soft mattress my cat decided to start running up and down the bed with glee. So I know I've made the right decision 😸 and that mattress was ordered from Amazon
Mine come inside a plastic sleeve bag inside the box. It was impossible to remove with out destroying a perfectly good reusable plastic bag so I unstitched the bag seam for later resewing and reuse.
Thanks for pulling the netting up just a bit and pointing out its purpose. What is the protective cover made of? Is it quiet once you put sheets on the mattress?
It’s called tencel cover. It sleeps cool and I love mine. No noise at all, it’s soft and super comfy. I’m sleeping directly on mine cus I love it but eventually I will have to get a sheet cus I don’t wanna have to wash the cover so often as it’s a bit of work to take off and on.
Has anyone or a couple had this type of mattress for a while? How has it held up? Is it mainly or only used for sleeping or has it had good use in errrr extra curricular activities. Like between newlyweds and first kid type of use? Does it feel the same or worn?
Thanks for the tips, I also like this mattress and was thinking about getting one for my Motor Home, but I was wondering if I could cut it down about 5" on width side of the mattress, I can only have 55" and they only come in 60" what are your thoughts? Tks Terry
You used this product in your kids room. Would you have any reservations using one as an adult? Do you think that someone could use the side that you described as more firm as the top of the mattress?
Just bought the queen size. Does the waterproof protective cover you bought diminish the plushness of the mattress? I fear putting an extra cover on it will take away from it's plushness
I noticed this mattress has a great "spring back" with your hands, wondering how long it took after a night of sleep? Also, with a traditional mattress you are supposed to turn or flip it to keep the wearing even. Would you do that with this mattress?
Man I see so many reviews on these mattresses and this brand and there's always a few bad ones that state that they don't get as comfortable after a few months and mange to cause back pain and stuff. Why is this the case and is this really a good buy or is it just bs like most reviews?
You should get advice from a specialist before buying any mattress especially for a kid... plush memory foam is actually really bad for a child in his growth it will fucked up his spine
