The audio is so clear!! 🔥 The London orchestra is no joke!!!! I love the clarity and depth. I wish the broadway orchestra was as strong, you guys are so lucky!
Lmfaooooo London is a copy of the original. Don’t forget it. Nothing in London wicked is stronger than the original Broadway production that made it all happen. Show respect.
@@xandercrew6088actually, when wicked in london opened, they made significant changes to the broadway production to match the west end updates that were made.
I finally got to see this show for the first time last night and was blown away by the sound, the vocals, the orchestra, Lucie Jones was utterly amazing in this. Well deserved of the standing ovation at the end.
Nothing will ever make me as emotional as Defying Gravity. This is truly the most magical experience ever. I remember literally crying my eyes out during the last minute… I can’t wait to do it again! ❤
I saw her closing night!! And I can't believe that she could've gotten better from here but she did! She was incredible, she went out the best way anyone could
I went to see this last night and am BEYOND THRILLED that you got this, as we saw Lucie Jones too! Such a magical voice. So nice to listen to it again and show my family. Thank you! Amazing ❤
OMG She sounds amazing, I can't wait to go see her in June. I've seen it on Broadway, but the Orchestra in London sounds so much stronger!! Lucie really killed it!
@@jasongreen2829 There is not 64 people in any Broadway or West End orchestra pit lol. I think its more like 24 on Broadway, probably same for West End. The NA tour is reduced to 18 or something like that.
The broadway production is going on 20 years and seems about time for them to revamp/replace some things, not Drastically like phantom but just refurbish the sets and add new lighting and sound elements. But the Gershwin theater is the newest and largest broadway theater but needs to be refurbished. It is a good fit for wicked but can’t meet the demand as both the production and building age.
@@jakeswansbury2839 Wrong again I'm afraid. In the event that Lucie and Amy are off, the role would normally go to the 1st understudy (Laura Harrison) or 2nd understudy (Nicola Espallardo). However, as neither had their put-in at this stage, Laura Pick was asked to return for this performance. Hope this helps!
Does anyone know who's playing Glinda here? I know Lucie mostly was acting alongside Helen Woolf, but Glinda here sounds different? This is my favourite performance!
I got to see her perform on Wednesday (31/8/22) after 9 years of wanting to see Wicked and she did not disappoint! She worked wonderfully with Lisa-Anne Wood as Glinda too, well worth the wait
Lucie is good, her understudy Amy was amazing on Wednesday, however, without any shadow of doubt the best Elphaba I've ever heard live or otherwise, was the incredible Alice Fearn.
Coming back to request Lucie Jones and Talia, Wicked’s Elphaba, do a swap and Talia goes to the West End and Lucie comes to Broadway in a few months…plz??
Seriously, wtf is this angle? I miss when bootleggers actually cared about what they were recording and even played around with different angles - and zoomed in on Elphaba during the flying part. I know the main focus is the audio, however we can barely understand anything that's happening in the video
@@phasemollasis6748 I mean at this point it's just to increase trade value it seems. Like just to say "hey I got video" but then this is the vid they hand how did people in Idina days manage to make BETTER vids AND not get caught? Also, there is a similar quality Lucy video too where she is completely zoomed in, so it IS definitely still possible. People just don't care enough to try because all they want is a trade value increase
