Lucien was my favourite villain. Very smart, cunning, interesting backstory, and his role was perfectly executed by the actor. I have watched this edit for 5 times and I will watch it again ;D

When you realize that him simping is what lead to his defeat

Its sad. Lucien had 100 years of his life stolen from the mikealsons and when he found the prophecy he spent the rest of his life believing that he was going to get his revenge and that he was one the prophecy talked about but really it was marcel.

Klaus has this reputation of being “Mr. imma steal yo girl” thing going on Stole Caroline from Tyler Stole Cami from Marcel Stole Aurora from Lucien Like I’m seeing a trend going on here-

He deserved more hype, I loved him so much 😌

Great video. It very much gets across the complexity of his character. When he was young he was nothing but a stable boy, too low in rank to be with the woman he loved. Worse than that, he was abused and disfigured by those who claimed to be his "betters" in social status. For the rest of his life Lucien would feel the sting of this. It would forever be this hollow, empty void inside of him that he couldn't fill. This feeling of being lesser, of being a plaything to those more powerful than him. He became a man of wealth and power but that hole just couldn't be filled. Then he finally achieves ultimate power only for it to be stripped away by his own hubris (things like forcing Klaus to kneel rather than just killing Klaus when he had the chance). Great character.

I really wish you would do a Kai Parker video, I know you don't do TVD but I think it would be really good.

I have to admit, I really liked Lucien as a character. He was super relatable and became super powerful, and I had no doubt in my mind that he was the one that would defeat the mikaelsons. With that being said, I still hated him, and thats what makes a good villain, and when he got defeated, that speech at the end that Klaus gave was so perfect. I actually remember him being one of the only villains to die and me saying "YES!" whenever Klaus pulled his heart out. Amazing edit btw

Lucien was broken like many TVDU villains but he was so consumed by revenge he became blinded

loved it, even he got not muah screen time it was all your work with that specific climax and s fen seconds

Lucien as a character was great and honestly the actor that plays him is great too. When they killed him off i was sad because i wont be able to see his face anymore. He is a great sight to look at lol. (Not me simping for yet another villain)

The mikaelsons were the villains in his history, many people do not understand that and they hate him and yeah he killed Cami and I didn't like that, but he adored the mikaelsons until they betrayed him so i feel sorry for him and i love him
