Yes, that's his strength xD Everyone knows about how calm Elijah is but also knows what will happen if you cross him and especially dangerous on how he formulates his promises/word xD I love him
The thing that makes Elijah more domineering than any of his siblings is his unpredictability. You can expect Klaus to do some dastardly and murderous, Elijah is a lot more unexpected.
Exactly! It's why Klaus is sometimes seen less dangerous than Elijah in my eyes. Klaus you expect and what you expect, you can prepare yourself against. Elijah is a dangerous dice and the only way to be certain you are a vampire and are let alive by him is to show him loyalty to him and his family members.
@@aishashaikh5466 Was replying to the main comment. You probably haven't seen Peaky Blinders. If you did you wud know Thomas Shelby.🙄 Give it a try maybe
Even Klaus , the original hybrid and Freya , the first born Mikaelson and his elder sister become innocent and adorable people when it's Elijah they are talking to 😂😂
When he threw coins and shattered that huge window I was like 😳 damn this guy is a problem. I was thrilled to see them get a spin off. Man I miss this show
the fact he even bosses around freya, technically his big sister, is amazing. truly the ultimate big brother despite being the middle brother. this was hilarious
I read he was almost turned down because the writers wanted an older Elijah, probably because of how bossy he was towards even his older siblings it had to look right and I think he pulled it off brilliantly.
@@KrazyKendra290 Well it's a damn good thing they went with Daniel anyway cause there wouldn't be an Elijah without him. He made Elijah work like nobody else could, the guy is amazing. Also, funny how Riley (Freya) is 14 years younger than Daniel. She's even younger than Claire (Rebekah), making her the youngest Mikaelson sibling actor. Kinda makes sense given she also slept the most out of all of them, even Finn.
FINALLY someone said it! The guy who yells and screams when threatenig is not scary, you know what he will do and how. But the calm guy who seems like he knows exactly what is going on and what he is doing, how do you deal with that? How do you escape??
Elijah and Klaus are both Alphas. Klaus commands a room because he’s passionate, has little patience and is domineering while Elijah commands a room because the room can’t tell what the hell his intentions are. Elijah is a piano wire in the forest. Klaus is a landmine. With Klaus you know you’ll die brutally immediately. With Elijah you know you’ll die… eventually, somewhere, very deliberately.
Even Niklaus respects Elijah's decisions, and his own elder sister too. Elijah is dominating, dangerous, scary, and funny at the same time. Great dominance by Elijah !!
That's the thing, People can talk shit to Klaus, they can bully Kol, they can kill Finn, break Rebekah's heart and attack Freya. BUT no one, NO ONE, messes with Elijah Mikaelson.
My favorite scene of Elijah is when he kills Agnes, the way he stops Klaus because he promised that Klaus won't kill, and then goes and does it by himself, is way too Badass xd
Yep lol and it’s probably why Elijah was always on the receiving end when Marcel advanced beyond him in power. Marcel was always tossing him around lol. Definitely a little payback
Daniel Gilles is such a brilliant actor and really plays the part of Elijah so well, to be so well spoken, so calm but yet so intimidating really speaks volumes to the actor and the character being one in the same
"You young vampires, so arrogant, how dare you come in here and challenge me" Damon: You can't kill me man Elijah: SILENCE😂😂 "Am an original show a little respect" Then gives damon a hankerchief to wipe the blood, savage🤣 Elijah is a calm, respectful and a dangerous honorable killer original😂 upredictable.
The fact that I just randomly in the middle of the day I keep on saying “NEEEKLAUSS” for absolutely no reason shows how much of an influence Elijah has over almost all of the fandom.
Elijah was always the 'big brother' role despite not actually being the eldest & his mannerisms of keeping calm and patient even when he's annoyed/being threatening makes him 10x more terrifying. Man, I miss Elijah - absolutely my favourite Mikaelson, fell in love with him when he first appeared on The Vampire Diaries, he's so badass.
To be fair finn was too whiny so he spent most of his lige in a box and freya was held in basiclly slavery by their aunt so he was usaully the oldest around lol
Elijah is more scarier because once he’s unleashed there no chains in hell that can hold him. He is the embodiment of “do not mistake my kindness for weakness”
I remember the moment Elijah appeared on the screen the whole world faded for me and all my favourites it was Him JUST HIM and he never disappointed me so yeah
Klaus always show off as a domineering alpha male but the one truly in-charge of everything is Elijah. He puts everything Klaus wants into practice. Klaus wouldn't be successful in executing his plans as an alpha without his big brother as Elijah is his spine. Even Freya and Finn listen to Elijah when they don't have to: maybe because Elijah has far more experience as compared to everyone in the family.
It's because he's the one level-headed and honourable one. If he loses his head, it's worth them all losing their heads over it, and if he believes there's a chance to do things the right way, they all know he will do anything to see it through
@@rashmirathnayake_ lol nope, Elijah could easily exist without Klaus , if he wasn't guilty, Klaus needed Elijah desperately to built his stature, back bone and empire and at the end, he died with him out of love
Elijah is my favorite Original vampire. Niklaus is my favorite Original. I think they both are highly intelligent, and sarcastic. Elijah: these are the city rules according to Marcel, which do not apply since I am in charge. Me: that's me and my siblings when my parents leave the house. My older brother is like: These are mom and dads rules. They don't apply anymore since I'm in charge while they are gone.
Whoeevr wrote his script was so damn good and damn how he immersed himself in that polished char..who says less, and so well..the articulation and delivery of the words.. The voice...yep I love love his char! Daniel nailed it so so well. And even Klaus no matter what always listened to him.. This was one of the best sibling bond shows..
Elijah and Klaus played their roles so convincing that after having watched all 5 seasons of the originals it seems almost weird to realize they are just "mortal" actors :-)
I dont know what it is.... His voice.... His face.... his calmness.....his hair .... his body...... His attitude.... I can't choose....Idk.... but I adore Elijah ❤
@@alinejerina4291 huh lmao at least Elena cares about Jeremy unless Klaus who literally forgot about Kol when Caroline batted her eyelashes at him or choose Caroline over Rebekah when she was suffering so in this way Elena is million times better because she isn't a man child shouting all the time, she is manipulative but heavily protected due to the plot
Elijah is the brother who will slap the shit out of anybody who would disrespect his family and in the same breath would slap fire from his family members no matter what. The brother everyone wanted growing up
Man... sweet baby young looking Elijah from the early episodes of TVD. That hair~ But also I can never forget Elijah's first appearance... oh man, it's when I fell for him. He was my all time fav Mikaelson~ ❤
Love it when big brother Elijah is dead serious or angry, big bad hybrid baby brother Klaus back the hell off and does what big bro said. Funny. At 4:47, Klaus looks scared 😂😂😂
Elijah always forgives Klaus just so when Klaus is about to do something crazy he can say "If you want me to forgive you then calm down"... and klaus always listen LMAO
I think "challenge" is the only word where his accent breaks into his cadence for Elijah. Also, why is it that most of his keeping Klaus in line is "Brother, if you wish me to forgive/want my forgiveness, then..."
Klaus wants his acceptance and he was always fucking up with Elijah.. Elijah knew the only way to make Klaus listen to him was to offer Klaus forgiveness for everything he does
The dynamic of this family is so weird🤣🤣 Freya: the selfless oldest sister. Finn: the forgotten older brother. Elijah: the advisor and Klaus’s moral compass, and family glue. Klaus: the newly arise King. Rebekah: the helpless romantic. Kol: retired playboy also the most childish.
Elijah Is My best Originals. His Character fit him so well. The way he talk, The he look. He is the calm vampire that is Scary. Well we can't deny his the strongest Vampire.
It really shows the intelligence of Elijah, he plays to klaus need for a family to get him in line and has his own way of controlling the other siblings. Klaus may be the more powerful just in sheer power from being a hybrid but Elijah is the chess master. He’s ten moves ahead
Actually I was also impressed that Klaus was quite the strategic type if you pay attention...as well though he often losts his sh## before he assessed his options:)
