Not really, God was there to save Lucifer and if he would've died in first season he would just stayed dead (in hell), but when Dan shoot him Chloe was there and there were no God to save him. So yeah Dan was the closest human in getting the devil killed.

@@marcelamarreros9294 correction, God was there, he was still in heaven there for he was omnipresent seeing everything unfold, being there in the process. Also Dan wasn't even close once you think about it, Luci didn't even bleed because he was immortal/invincible Infront of Chloe. Also Chloe was there when Malcolm shot Lucifer, that's the whole reason why he bleed in the first place. All your theories and arguments are now null and void.

@@maiden1471 Lucifer didn't even know he was invincible until Dan shooted him, it's after when he realizes he can change that (since he reactualizes a lot). Michael took advantage of Dan's fear to get rid of Luci since Chloe was there making him vulnerable. And with Malcolm God knows what would happen, he was there to save Lucifer since they agreed to bring back Lucifer because Goddess of creation escaped from hell. You should pay more attention to the series.

He killed Chloe, killed his sister, waged another war, lied and made his Dad seem like his powers weren’t working, etc. Lucifer may not kill him but he deserves heavy punishment

@@demoncatthing That's true. I felt like I was forgetting something. I really hated how they brushed over Remiel's death. I really liked her character! And she had to go out in such a horrible way! But yeah I guess your right. Though if you look from his perspective, at least you can feel a little bad for him. But all in all, I still wish that he had some character development in season 6. It didn't have to be much, just a little change in character.

He is supposed to be fearless and psychopathic... who just liked unleashing reigns of terror for sadistic amusement. Not some overly ambitious cowardly weirdo. They basically ruined his character arc in the latter half of season 5... where he just made guest appearances as a minor villain instead of presenting a genuine threat. They should've taken risks with him... such as being able to use his powers to cause humans to become bloodthirsty killers. Turning L.A. into a dilapidated shithole (not too far from reality I guess) and make the place full of extremists killing each other. He is the Angel of War, Power and Combat.

He will, but to expect him to gain redemption in a matter of months is kinda ridiculous - considering this is a guy who's been an asshole for millions of millennia.

@@Ozzie_Mandias It wouldn't really make sense for such an angel to exist thou. God threw Lucifer in hell for his rebellion. He also sent his own wife to hell for doing harm on the Earth. So why would he keep a psychopathic angel who would do the same things in Heaven by his side?

Also an overused, forced cliche. It wouldn't been boring, expected, and done over and over and over again in hundreds of stories across dozens of media.

Well the name drops were there, even last season they talked about castiel for example, we saw the purgatory from lucifer in the crisis on infinite earths crossover and we got a father frank easter egg

according to a lucifer fan page, Michael eventually went through Lucifer's counseling sessions, and allowed to leave Hell,and he had Lucifer did make amends. However, the status of 'outcast' remained on him with his siblings, so he was angelica non grata in the Silver City...he did eventually meet his niece, but she described him as 'the worst', and wanted nothing to do with him.

@@loredanagacha722 I think it’s different in this case since Michael’s wings were cut-off by the Flaming Sword, a celestial weapon that can wipe-out beings out of existence. Let’s take a look at Uriel and Remiel: had they were killed by any other celestial weapon, like Maze’s blades, they would’ve died but eventually respawn in either Heaven or Hell. The Flaming Sword (Azriel’s blade) killed them both and wiped their souls out of existence. They went to neither Heaven or Hell, they were just gone. That’s why Lucifer felt such guilt when he killed Uriel, because he knew he won’t be able to respawn and reviving him is impossible. I think it’s the they same case for Michael’s wings: had they been cut off by any other celestial weapon besides the Flaming Sword, he could’ve self-actualised his wings back. Maze cut off Lucifer’s wings with her celestial blades and yet Lucifer got them back eventually. The Flaming Sword, however, has permanent damage on anything it cuts through, so I think Michael’s wings are lost forever, unless God (Amenadiel in this case) has the power to revert the Sword’s damages, and he should have such power since he’s omnipotent

He must of died as a mortal and had regrets

Lucifer punished Michael for his actions, after cutting off his wings, he sent him to Hell. He made him a prisoner and made work as a janitor in Hell. And I also imagine that his demons must be torturing from time to time for fun. Michael is alive but now that his wings were cut off he cannot leave.

Dan died long before she was born, I guess it’s not a good idea to tell her the story he almost kill Luci.

For her, "stupid human" does not specify Dan, it could be anyone. Also when she and Dan meets, it's not really implied whether she knows him or not. He did die a long time ago, but he could have been mentioned in the event that she is told that Trixie is her stepsister.

I believe Rory knew who Dan is, but I guess Chloe never shared the fact that he tried to kill Lucifer

@@peatbogg3688 It's a surge of pent up rage that produced that, given chloe and lucifer's curiosity I'm quite sure she would snoop around, so if she knew where to look in the first place, it's dumb that he didn't check her time's hell at some point in time. It would make sense if she mention as chloe was dying that she realizes the reason she made her promise not to go to hell

My theory is that, with Amenadiel as God, he barred access to Hell for any angel, like what their father did to Lucifer and heaven, unless Lucifer asked, or he needed to get a message to him. I think he lifted it after Chloe passed on and joined her eternal partner, so that Rory could visit and enjoy more time together with her parents.

Chloe didn't tell her so by the time she traveled to see Lucifer she went back to the last time/place she knew where he'd be.

These are all speculations, until it is confirmed by creators it remains a huge plot hole

considering how much he got away with for millennia (being the true architect of the rebellion) and last season (gaslighting God, killing a sibling), this might be appropriate.

I don’t know if she knew he was in hell. All her mom would say is that he disappeared. Knowing who Lucifer is, that would be the first place to look though. There are plenty of plot holes in this season.

Yeah I'm not sure the writers thought that bit through enough. She clearly knows the truth of who he really is, and is half-angel herself. It's like what some people have joked about with the Return of the Joker Batman movie back in the day where (Spoiler, for anyone who cares) the Bat-family spent a few weeks looking for the Joker and the kidnapped Tim Drake....only to find them in like the completely, most obvious place where the only way it could have been more obvious was to have flashing signs pointing there: Arkham Asylum. Again, they only find them there like at least half a month later. People joked with things like, "Really? That's the *one* place you didn't look that entire time? Really?" One way or the other, I feel like that at least would be the first place to look.

@@jacott1382 you mean Uriel...Uriel is not in hell persay, a demon projected an image of Uriel...when Lucifer went back to hell in season 2 to get the formula from Dr. Carlyle...while Lucifer was down there, he got trapped in hell and headed toward his cell after hearing a piano being played, when " Uriel" turned around Lucifer was stunned to see his brother down there...but it wasn't actually Uriel, it was a demon who looked like Uriel. Lucifer's mother arrives at the hospital and tells Maze and Linda that even though she has a terrible fear of the place and that the only thing holding her back is her resistance, Maze shocks the goddess in the chest and the goddess goes down to pull him out and tells Lucifer that it's not really his brother.

michael is a normal person like you, aside from lucifer. Lucifer is darkness, before light. Michael is just some being god created. You cant compare the two. Darkness has no brother, its just one.

@@angelalex7827 Chloe is literally on life support in her living room. It's not like she got into a car crash. We also see that Rory does not dress like that normally as she never wears that outfit any other time in the show. Or even anything close to that outfit. She instead wears comfortable shirts and jeans. So again isn't it nice that she dressed like some punk from a post-apocalyptic world to visit her mother who was dying. Because again she's a poorly written character

@@jakoblopez5691 Not exactly, in the DC comics there are three arch-angels who are above the other angels in terms of power, being called “demiurgic angels”: Lucifer(Samael), Michael and Gabriel. While I’m not too knowledgeable about Comic Gabriel’s powers, I know that Lucifer and Michael are pretty much equal in terms of power, being surpassed only by their father, The Presence (God)

@Joel McCall he did kill his own sister Remiel, he killed Chloe, and he killed Caleb the kid from season 2 that Amenadiel was trying to help. So yeah Michael being in hell is very fitting...though in the comics Michael does end up in hell and taking over Lucifer's roll as king so that Lucifer could visit his niece And towards the end of the comics Lucifer shows his niece how to control her new found powers.

@TyPHoN sama Michael is Lucifer's twin brother. Same as the comics and graphic novels.
