Excellent video, Gary! It is very sad that Lucy and Desi's former home has been/will be demolished. Something like that should be preserved, not destroyed. I hope the building that was used as the 'Desilu Studios' remains standing forever. Wow! There is so much history of television in that area. Thank you so much for posting this video.

This is not a coincidence that I saw this video as there is no such thing. Thank you ever so much for sharing and showing us the memories of Lucille and Desi and I felt like I was in their time and really became emotional. Just love them both and I know they are happy where they are right now. God bless you more Gary and I bless you for the goodness of God that is at work in you and through you.

Fascinating ! Never knew about this til now. Probably came in very handy after a hard days work & when they didn't want to make the long drive to Chatsworth or to their Beverly Hills home ! Thanks for the tour and info. I am wondering if you or anyone were able to take some things GS from the property before it was demolished? They probably have companies who do that. Like those green outside lights, doors, other fixtures. I wonder if they sell those things online or at an auction or do they have stores around that handle those types of things? I do hope you can give me some answer. Thank you so much.

why does this wonderful building look so abadonded when i was at this street corner in 1999 i went to cali after gradation high school it was so alive with people i mean a way diffrent time now the building looks comdemd and the street look like ghetoo n the peeps i seen on u video look like there scooreing drugs so sad we let this building go then agin i havent been here in 21 yrs

Whaaaaaat?? NOOOOO, gosh the buildings and houses with great history and beauty that get demolished is so damn sad!! Especially, the ones that don't actually need to demolished and only are for reasons like someone wanting to build on that property or payment troubles etc... For example, Glenridge Hall in sandy springs, Georgia aka the salvatore residence (the vampire diaries) was ASTOUNDING! So beautiful and was taken good care of! Was demolished back in 2014-2015 because the great granddaughter of the original owners that built the house in 1929, let money and greed took hold and she sold the mansion to Mercedes benz where they knocked it down and turned the land into stupid ass HQ! Im sorry im ranting but this stuff happens all the time and way to often its just so sad 😞 😥

Sad that history like that is being destroyed and demolished. I wish they also kept the sets from filming things as well, but I heard a lot of that was destroyed when they stopped filming. Depressing.
