I've been playing for just a month and it's pretty obvious by now because they get really timid but at the same time try to swarm into as many people. It's as obvious as when a mercy is gunning for a certain rez. Sadly me predicting those actions and me stopping are 2 totally different things

most players telegraph their ultimates far in advance and it's pretty easy to counter most in reaction. Reaper, Zarya, and Reinhardt ults are easiest to notice

That's why solo ulting is the optimal play for me. Don't bother with big groups unless you have a teammate to assist you or you need to try and make a last ditch play. Just focus on small groups of two or solo ult an annoying DPS. Much simpler and less likely to get melted from my expierence.
