The most underrated line in the film is when Anurag Kashyap is explaining something and Rishi Kapoor just shuts him down saying, "ABBE O, FILM INSTITUTE"... I laughed so much, I cried

I grew up watching Bollywood movies and even though I am not from Bombay and didn't grow up around the showbiz world, or is anyway related to it. I still loved this movie and appreciated it quite a lot. I think a part of my appreciation for this movie has to do with the fact that now we know quite a lot about Bollywood than what we did back then. The topics of professional rivalry, jealousy is something the many young professionals face especially while pursuing art which makes the movie relevant even now.

Suggestion for next movie: CHACHI 420!! CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED MOVIE in terms of pop culture. Each and every actor has KILLED IT in their roles and it's a shame that even though the movie has several top notch comedic and meme worthy moments, it still doesn't get the attention it deserves!! Do consider it, pretty please? ❤️

Interestingly, the movie "Hello" was directed by Atul Agnihotri, a popular actor of the 90s whose career didn't really take off. This closely mirrors the arc of Sanjay Kapoor's character 😅

Meanwhile, I saw ‘Luck By Chance’ when it released in a theatre with my mother. I understood the movie (sort of) but I’ve really understood the film even better as the years go by.

As a diehard fan of the New York Mets (who suck, admittedly), I’m hugely disappointed Sapan showed up in a New York Yankees cap 😆. I know it’s India and probably just a fashion choice, but as an actual baseball fanatic, that just makes me hate the Yankees that much more. (At least they kinda suck right now, too.)
