Picked up this 67 Swb c10 in pieces and slapped it together with QA1 suspension Holley Performance fuel injection 5.3 Ls and Gearstar 4l60. Enjoy the ride
I've always said that "I'd rather be Lucky than Good", you sir are both. Good Job! I just rolled home a 1972 K5 Blazer project yesterday. I'm feeling inspired! Thanks :-)
Nice looking truck! Love the stance, and the sound of that engine. Gives me motivation to restomod mine. I love the looks of the 67-68, they don't have plastic grills like the 69-72 does. That's why I have a '68. I can walk out to it on any given day, throw the key in the ignition and it'll start right up. Mine is all original body and frame, the 327 block and crank are original, everything else has been replaced or upgraded due to cracked heads. The trans is the factory TH400 that has been rebuilt. The 12 bolt rear end has been replaced due to the carrier bearings going out between Casper Wy. and my home in Vernal Ut. while hauling a uhaul trailer with my kids stuff in it.
Lucky's like Tarantino... Showing the beginning in the middle 😄 Bitchin' truck. I love yer work buddy and my Country Squire thanks you for this channel because it's back on the road after 18 months.
Lucky, that thing is mint man. It’s perfect, brand new underneath and an awesome patina uptop. Sounds like it needs a little more converter so you can burn the tires off however.
At the gas station reminded me of a guy (farmer?) who came by for a fill up each month. I believe it was a Chevrolet(?) with the largest optional fuel tank (22 or 32 gal?), two 32 gal saddle tanks (fillers in wheel wells) and a 50 gal tank behind the cab. We would have an octopus of hoses pumping fuel into these tanks. ;-)
Great to see it finally run and drive Lucky, the only thing missing was Chris Jacobs doing the narration of the video so it would have had the tv show feel of days gone bye when you worked with Foose.
Awesome stance and like the wheel tire combo. Don't need big shiny wheels to go fast. You'll go faster with a setup like that and have a better quality ride. Plus tires are cheaper when you boil them off lol.
Love that truck had one in high school I got to build the truck in school for credit in CT when I was 21 had to move to Florida to help my grandparents and started a family of my own and now I live in San Francisco because of a house fire and my wife wanted to live in San Francisco so I made it happen been here in SF almost two years soooo expensive here and the fact on may 18 2018 some guy shot me after sneak in our building and my dogs barked at him one thing led to another and he put 4 holes in me and now I'm still recovering from it fractured femur , hit my sciatic nerve and my calf muscle ankle are num so they don't work right now hopefully it will come back and then I can get back to work so one day I can have my truck back!!!!
Dang dude! You need a three legged dog that's blind in one eye, missing it's tail and has a chunk of one ear bitten off that answers to "Lucky" (no pun intended). I'd say you should qualify for some kind of government program after that! Better luck in the future sir! And I don't mean to jinx you here, but it sounds like it can't get much worse!
Wish I had a friend who took all my stuff. That way I'd have a chance at getting it back. I had one, but he died. And his brother sold everything before I found out he died.
