The luckiest kid in Utah, Kai Hansen, draws the coveted, once-in-a-lifetime Bison Sportsman Tag. So he and his father, with the help of Albrecht Outfitting, hunt the Henry Mountains in Southern Utah in search of a big bull.
My son just received a call from the DWR for an Archery Tag!!! Congratulations I just prey for the same success and if not the journey will be worth it!!! Congratulations to all Participated involved!!!
Not enough to be hunting them, they need to be left alone and let them become more populated into the thousands before hunting them again, I would love to hunt them too but not with their numbers so few.
They don’t want there to be thousands. Bison are big and eat a lot. It’s a tough balance between making sure there’s enough resources for deer, elk, public grazing, etc.
Private hunting and state regulated hunting actually ensures the safe continued survival of the species especially private because it’s in their interest to be able to have continuous profits
