I went from missing double shines 90% of the time, to hitting quad shines in training in 5 minutes. The guitar method should be in public school curriculum

OMFG THANK YOU SO MUCH LUCKY!!! I CAN DOUBLESHINE CONSISTENTLY AFTER TRYING YOUR SECOND METHOD!!! I always did the first method and had the same problem you had. Once it starts to work, you realize you don't need to rush the second shine too much.

I've been messing up with my shines a lot lately and I notice it's constantly because of my thumb being awkward between the Y and B buttons so this method should really help me out. Thanks Lucky, you're the best. :]
I literally discovered this on my own today specially cause I was learning shine out of shield. I could do a double shine very consistently with the wiggle but couldn't do much out of it. Anyway awesome vid! thanks lucky!
i find going from X to B a more natural movement for my thumb, even if you hit A it doesnt register so long as you hit b early enough. I'm pretty sure thats what Westballz does too! (correct me if im wrong)
i'm so dumb, when i try multishining i was doing the same method but i thought you had to regular shine before jump cancel shining so it felt super weird
Just wondering about this Lucky, but people say using x to multishine is faster, and every time i slide my thumb across b, a, x, I almost always miss the jump input on players, but when i mash it without hitting it always works... Does the jump come out slower or can't short hop to multishine if you hit another player?
What the heck howw The buttons are so tall, my fingers just hit into the sides of the buttons I just do tap jump, it doesn't work at all but it's as close as I can get
Omg I felt that going in but just practice the jump cancel thing going from Y (which is taller) to B. Keep trying to do it frame perfectly or as fast as you can and eventually just keep doing it over and over again and it happens. I main Falco so I was struggling to understand then I tried it a bit with fox and with the easier jump squat timing I got it down
