Lucy’s first day in her new home 

Thanks! Yesterday I broke the news that’s she’s been adopted, now just hope she wants to adopt me too.

She’s an angel alright! Thanks! I can’t get over all the love and support she’s getting from stranger on the internet, nor can I believe how many people were in my bathroom just watching her video. Faith in humanity has been restored.

I really feel bad for her too, but I have faith that things will always find a way to work out in the end, I’m currently reading up on on the language of cats, so if anyone has tips I’d welcome them!

For sure! I can’t imagine the stress she’s been in, being alone with his body, strangers in n out of their house, a clean up crew ripping up the place to repair for resale, add to that the capture, vet and new environment, being locked in a bathroom, she’s safe now, she just needs time to see that.

No need to thank me, it was my mom who was worried no one would make the effort to throw money on a vet bill and adopt a senior cat, she knew 2 months was a long time if the cat was still alive, it was dad who set live traps and checked them several times a day,Lucy was running out of time and I was option, I’m happy to play my part, but it’s definitely been a group effort, I’m reading up on cats, I previously didn’t think I’d have any pets

Well she’s 12 so forever may not be that long, I’m still not sure how I’m gonna make this work, I’m a highway worker in the summer and a California snowbird in the winter, but little steps, first she has to adopt me back

Lucy’s alive, her dad died, she spent 2 months alone hiding in the rafters of their house,she’s been captured, vet checked and vaxxed, now she’s here with me. She’s 12 years old and scared, and missing her owner, she knows he’s gone as he passed in their kitchen. We didn’t know if she would be feral but she’s not, she has a mild manner, very sweet, just scared and unsure right now

Lucky for her cats don’t see as many colors as we do but she’s got us beat in night vision and depth perception. But yes it’s kinda retro! Still in that first 48 hours waiting for the dewormer to clear her system.
