I own this machine but very disappointed with this machine it’s been nothing but trouble, l have owned this for just over a year and have taken it back over 3times upto to now and it ended up being took and it meant that I was unable to move the wheel so of course meant more money in fact was taken back to nothing and found some blue cotton plus something else and was told this feature has a tendency for this to happen and it a something that happens and you can’t find the problem yourself has o be stripped down by shop to find it to be honest l feel this be sorted out by Bernini because I’m scared to use it now he said it was something using the 9metre bobbin could be the problem, l was told a Bernini was the best on the market but alas I can’t say this now. I even bought the upgrade for it l wish l hadn’t bothered thought I was being good in getting this, l thought buying the QE would be good seeing l quilt . So I feel let down
@@craftyvirgo my 70QE was bought last year and it’s been nothing but trouble been to the shop l bought it from , has been back at least 3 times and it’s cost money each time l go, the last time l took it back 4 weeks ago was unable to turn the wheel when l picked up was informed that it was stripped down completely found blue cotton and something else, said this could not be found unless it was stripped down completely and this was a fault that could happen again, mentioned something about the bigger bobbins , so I’m afraid that didn’t please me because l was always told that Bernie was the best you could own, l have two brothers have had no problems, and l got the up grade before it went back to be repaired this time , I’m disappointed and very upset because I’ve been pleased till it kept going wrong
@@hazelgiles7058 To be honest I couldn’t agree with you more with regard to the 770QE - I have had a couple of sewing machines in the past including a Pfaff which I gave to my daughter. I too bought a Bernina based on the ‘all-glowing’ Rolls Royce good name and have also had too many intermittent issues with the cogs popping up on the screen frequently and it’s clear dislike of non-Gutermann thread. I have ruined buttonholes because of its temper tantrums and as for bird nesting with thread it is constant! - a machine that boasts quality should not get this problem - if I had my time again I very much doubt I would buy a Bernina 50 years ago possibly but certainly not now! - if you have been told issues might lie around the 9mm bobbin then where was the extreme testing to ensure there were no issues at all with this very expensive machine before putting it out on the market - if this is Rolls Royce quality then I would rather have a mini!
