Agreed. Rachel Collier's was also pretty fantastic, in a totally different way, but the other two fell flat for me. Cuckoos because it just felt a teeny bit too experimental, and Andrew's because god dammit it starts out so strong, and then vanishes into his navel. I get that he was fucking around and experimenting, and more power to him, but the 3 feels don't go together at all.
Cuckoo's was way to experimental to sound good, and Andrew's started solid, but just then messed about a bit and that ruined it. Rachael's was decent, but this one just took the top spot
I think what is super cool about this project is that after following Andrew, Cuckoo and Jeremy for a while (I wasn't aware of Rachel - I am now!) you can very easily pick out who did which remix - everyone has such a distinct "voice" in these tracks.
The Andrew Huang video popped up in my recommended videos tonight and I just clicked it out of curiosity. I didn’t expect to be blown away by Jeremy’s god-tier music and now I’m angry I hadn’t heard of him sooner.
In b4 the haters. 0 dislikes and for good reason. could see all of the thought that went into producing this track and how you used the sound samples were actually a surprise to me. Over all, you'll be seeing me on this song for a little while longer for the next week or so. Great work Jeremy.
Thanks @redmeansrecording for the highlight. I've been with your channel for a while, the style that you use really helps me as a prospective producer even though I'm using logic, your advice on music theory helps me get through some tough producers block. Cant wait to see you trending someday
You clearly have an ear for this style of music. Your use of subtle textures and preserving melody in interesting ways are very strong talents. Good job!
I think the best part about this song is the diversity and the different layers you have implemented I also love the way you have used a the chords, a good beat man!
I actually cant explain how great of a track this is. I was a bit thrown off because I used to be super into this kind of dubstep typa music, but I loved all of them. Good job on your part Jeremy!
Hell yeah! I knew there would be a collab between you and Andrew as soon as I saw his first comment on your video. Great job dude, this is an awesome track.
I just came from the "4 PRODUCERS FLIP THE SAME SAMPLE", and yours caught my ears the best. You had a transition from the verse, bridge, to the chorus that all sound like they belong with each other. Of course, you have your own spin to it, but yours, in my opinion, was THE MOST EFFECTIVE. Good job Jeremy!
Dear Jeremy, since seeing the comp video, this is still my favourite Future Bass track ever, kicking Darling by Said The Sky off my own top spot. I hope you'll be making more future bass. May I ask what Future Bass Tracks/Artists have inspired you? There's a lot of unimpressive Future Bass out there too. Looking for more gold, if you have a spare minute? Cheers!!
Definitely my favorite of the remixes! I could jam out to this pretty much any time, absolutely sick. What I love about this production is all of the little details that make it easy to listen to again and again, but none of them are misplaced or distracting, they are all perfectly in equilibrium. So many layers!
Hey Jeremy - Still love coming back to listen to this, such a wonderful piece. I also just love watching you talk about music in general - your passion for music is so contagious and energetic and I always love hearing it come across, both in your music and in your discussions about music.
Whoa. You have such an amazing ability to shell shock me with your music, Jeremy. Almost always seems to catch me off guard in the most wonderful ways. So good. So, so good.
I watched Andrew's video last night, my favourite of the four was yours but something in it made me think of another song. Today I watched the original song and this autoplayed after then I realised what it reminded me of: Lamaitre 'Higher' the chorus part has a similar rhythm as the early drop in this. I only found that song recently too, synchronicity is strange. Keep up the great work dude.
I know this is asked a lot, but seriously who would dislike this video? Why would anyone want to dislike the video? Can someone honestly tell me the reasoning? Do you not like Jeremy or the challenge or the song? Why don't you like the song when this is a very popular genre that people enjoy? Do you listen to an unknown genre that people hate? Just why? Why?
