Her beautiful voice color, her technique, her beauty...all that will let her become a big star in the future. She can sing everything, makes every song to "her" song. That´s incredible. I am the proud owner of all of Lucy's albums to date, I think this cover is close to my favorite if I have one. Lucy has a beautifully perfect voice. I am a big fan of crossover classical singers, I think Lucy falls into this category, my late wife would've loved her as Lucy has covered a lot of her fav songs. keep on entertaining us Lucy. Great analogy of Lucy's performance. That is what makes her so very special. Yes, she is a great singer but she is also a fantastic stylist. she has a brilliant flair of interpreting a song. she did make this song sound like a new one. I feel that her version of "she used to be mine" is the best out there for this same reason. she interprets it as reflective which is what the lyrics imply. done at the age of 14 she shows she has an incredible understanding of music. I Love Lucy. She is the best since K.C. and she has some of those same qualities. keep up the good work. more Lucy please.
John, "She used to be Mine" is an absolute masterpiece, my favorite Lucy performance! How can someone only 14 yrs old deliver that artistic masterpiece?!! Not only are her vocals flawless, but her range here is uncanny! She brought me in right away, tapped into my soul, and took me for a elegant & blissful journey into my inner being......so emotionally intense........I shed some serious tears..........that was absolutely stunning and beautiful!

I have been predicting for a while that Lucy is going to be a big star. I'm glad to see other people as invigorated by her performances. We are all going to remember her name. She has a bright future. A key reason why, if you look at her work, is that she keeps working on her craft. She keeps getting better.
Just recently heard her for the first time. Lovely voice. And I love the videos when she sings with her little sister. And I see she is in the comment section. That's pretty cool too. Amazing vocals. And I do love this song too. And as someone that loves to write songs, this song has awesome lyrics. What a masterpiece of writing. Great reaction. Totally agree. I love when artists completely change the feeling of the song. Music is such a gift.
If you listen closely to Lucy and Martha sing, you'll hear Martha singing soprano and Lucy singing Mezzo. A lot of people don't notice the difference. And also, Lucy's vibrato has those warm round tones and not-too-close-or-wide peaks and valleys that very few teen singers have except Jackie Evancho, another singer you might want to react to.

Same thing when Lucy and Martha sing 'In the arms of the angel', it comes across very differently. They are able to impart a certain sense of 'hope' to it and an element of being uplifted not melancholy like the original. Such a talent in so many ways.
