Fantastic drums- definitely the most affordable era of Supra yet sounds just as good as all the others. These Monroe badge models with the tone control and no gaskets are my favorite, and were actually produced from 1985 thru the early 2000s!

Last reel to reel drum recording I did (2016)was with a 60's Ludwig cavern kit and 60s supraphonic.The whole kit was badly tuned until I tuned it and sounded absolutely amazing.Even I was impressed how easily tunable that kit was.Remember the kick was a 16" that might have been why.Ever since I've been wanting that snare it just sounds so fat and is just the most coolest looking.Reminds me of the Empire state building in my hometown in Manhattan.🥁🤖
