As a west African (Nigerian) just want to point out that that symbol is not a Yoruba symbol. It’s actually a Ghanaian symbol - it’s for Nyame. Which the definition is correct… however the people group to which she ascribed the symbol to is incorrect. Cultural error aside I fkn love me some Lunell she keeps it real and needs her own channel podcast. I’d so tap in.

She is KILLING ME with the flashbacks--OMG 🤩 Dancing to Heatwave's "Grooveline"..going to Silks night club 😄😄 My mama was young & hot back then.. She used to leave me at home alone when she & her friends went out to Silks--always hated that place because of that! I was 9, an only child and scared to death to be home alone at night. Luenelle is a treasure tho🙏 Her testimony gave me a warm, fuzzy nostalgia rush!! East Oakland, CA 🙌

It had a huge dance floor, disco lights, a bar (snack) & the whole nine yards! Saw Ms. Pat's special on Netflix. It was funny but not gut busting funny. The first quarter of her special reminded me of Bernie Mac's stand up routine. She should have a show like The BM Show on Netflix or Hulu. Ms. Pat keeps it real but her humor is too raw for network TV. Of course Netflix should give Luenell a special!!!
