I’m telling you as somebody who is married, and my mother-in-law claims to know her son. But didn’t even know him and his adult life. Because I was there his whole adult life his mother wasn’t. I knew him as a dad and I knew him as a husband. Your kids are meant to leave and create a new family. Keeping them with their moms it’s just enabling the parents not to do much afterwards. I am FAR from being one of those people that says, "You must always respect your parents no matter what", but from what I have heard, and that is all I can go on, the house situation was not enough to cause this many years of estrangement between them. His wife forgave him for his horrible mistakes, he could not forgive his parents? There could have been A LOT worse things that they did that caused this long rift, but I have not heard them. And in my book, they did not disrespect Vanessa by not coming to the wedding.
