Oda loves to drop huge reveals right at the end of arcs and they always make for some of the best chapters and episodes. It's great to see how far Koby and Helmeppo have come, too.

I didn't realize Garp being his grandpa was a secret. It was introduced so early in the live action!

Thats honestly the only thing in the live action that i didnt like. I understand why though, cause Coby and Helmepo's characters wouldve seemed like random characters that would never be seen again if they didn't add Garp early.

Why Coby changed some much? There is a philosophy Oda put there. Basically if person dont follow or abandon their dream - they portrait as beeing ugly and unattractive. And if person follow or regains their dream they become more attractive. Same with Coby, in the begging he has his dream to become navy officer, but he didnt follow it - so hes ugly, as soon as he starts to follow it, he becomes more attractive as a character. Same with his captain Alvida, she was not following her dream in the begging, so she was fat and ugly (although she had imba devil fruit) and as soon she start to follow her dream - she became more beautiful. Thats a philosophy behind One Poece characters attractiveness, if they follow their dream or goal, dont matter if its good or evil, they basically will be more attractive.
