I really enjoy your straight forward reviews Dennis. I’ve flown Lufthansa’s Business Class several times but when I entered my “60’s” I decided it was time to keep moving forward and up to First Class I went. Their service in First is absolutely phenomenal! There aren’t enough adjectives to describe my feelings about it. I’m really blessed to be able to afford to be good to myself now in the last 3rd of my life experience. 😉

that 2,2,2 layout is going to force strangers to sleep with each other. seems the privacy is almost non existing. anyway great video showing me their business class.

What about people who travel in groups or couples or with kids? Anyone who can't manage relating in the real world where people sometimes have to be in close proximity should not use air travel if they are anti-social and can't afford a private jet.

@@x1achilles99 still if you are paying premium prices, you expect Premium privacy don't you think. Also aisle access, without having to climb over your neighbour. Take a look at Omen Air business Class or Emirates for unrestricted all aisle access and excellent privacy

@@martinpowell5769 I'm just going to donate the €17.000 to Oprah's education initiative in southern Africa. While you get Dom Perignon, 150 kids will get an entire school built and textbooks. Plus, a typical business class seat will cause a 6 fold increase of carbon emissions over an economy seat (floor area, increased baggage, higher crew ratio, etc...) Enjoy.

I usually don't really respond to video's, but I wanted to thank you for your reviews! It made us remember that a journey starts as soon as you close the door at home. Traveling from Amsterdam to Nairobi often, it can sometimes feel as a bore, but if you see this journey as part of the experience, you get to enjoy a lot more of the travel itself. Myself (and co-travellers) have more fun and so does the staff. So thank you for helping me remembering and saving me a lot of boredom by changing my view on traveling :) Thanks!

SFO to Frankfurt has been a staple flight for me this year. First time I've flown Lufthansa was Dec 2016 and it has become one of my favorite airlines. I flew KLM in June and I really could see the difference between their standards of service. Lufthansa had by far my favorite business class out of all the European airlines! Thanks for your video!

GlobalTraveler.TV hi Stefan, the configuration is my big problem with Lufthansa. The Asian carriers all have all aisle access or close to it and many US carriers, such as AA, do too. While the Europeans have an acceptable soft product, the major carriers lack a decent hard product

A great video Dennis. I actually recently flew with Lufthansa for the first time from Heathrow to Frankfurt economy class, and I agree with your comment about the cabin crew. They were indeed friendly and very professional, so I will definitely be flying with LH again, albeit only to destinations in German. happy travels and keep uploading your excellent videos.

Singapore is the best ever airport .. my local and always in it .. love this review as always from one travel bug to another always like to know whats on offer out there in the world, I think business class is the only way but unfortunately not always possible for a mere mortal like myself..haha!! Nice pronunciation of Lufthansa! I sometimes cringe a little inside when people try to pronounce German because it's usually, ah, wrong, but you were very good. I'm pleasantly surprised :D. Great video, as always.

I like LH very much. Only started flying them a few years ago and realised what I had been missing! I tried and enjoyed all their classes except for First, which I would love to try one day. I agree that their business seats are a touch narrow, but everything else makes up for this. Staff on board are always wonderful. Food can be hit and miss, but seems to be consistently better these last few flights I had with them.

Dennis, I too recently flew (2 weeks ago)with Lufthansa in Europe and would agree that the service is first class... Pity they don't fly all the way to Australia! Keep up the good work..

Yeah BA is the last of the European carriers still flying to Australia. You can get some really good Lufthansa combo fares using SQ though which is good.

DennisBunnik Travels I really wouldn't like to go BA all the way to Australia. I try and avoid them like the plague when I travel to North America. Going to Australia the gulf carrier do such a fantastic job and at a good price, it's probably not cost affect for European airlines to go.

I second your comments about BA. They are slowly going down hill, on account of their new Chief Exec, who is just cutting back everything and they are becoming an overpriced, no thrills airline, Lufthansa put them to shame to be honest.

Lufthansa is the first customer of the 777-9X. From what I've heard this plane should be capable to Fly Frankfurt-Sydney non-stop. So who knows...

I'm pretty sure he's of Dutch origin. His Dutch pronounciation, and naming his business after the small village of Bunnik, near Utrecht, are indicators.
