Agreed on both accounts, though my performance was the same between the two (and I’d even say there are things I prefer about the Luger) the P38 is simply better in some regards (namely that a little dirt or sand wont just stop it dead)
The P08 is not a Nazi Pistol the P08 is a modified Version of the P04 only difference is the Caliberthe 04 firing 7,65 Parabellum and the 08 the 9mm Parabellum and the production start of the 08 was 1908 and the Imperial German Army taked the P08 in service the P08 was produced from 1908 to 1944 and over 4 million were produced.
Hey Thomas! What about the Belgium and Polish entrants lurking in the background? I learnt to shoot of German marked Browning. That would give both the P38 and the PO8 pause for thought.
That is almost exactly what I paid actually, and that was after wading through a sea of them that were over $2k (some better, some worse, this was the best military example for the price)

Unfortunately it doesn’t work, I’m gonna get a second mag and see if that’s the problem. I could use a spare anyway. If it’s not that then it’s the latch itself, which I could get a spare for as well
as much as the luger is a wet dream pistol the p38 makes more sense and at the risk of triggering my fellow gun nerds im saying its best pre beretta 92 9mm made
That is definitely a bold statement! But it is definitely amongst the best of it’s time, the only competition would be (in my mind) the Radom Vis, 1911 and Hi-Power

To much talking without adding value. Give us information about the pistols. Why do you have a Luger P08 Vs Walther P38? When were they used and by who and why are they often confused. We don't care where you are or who is hunting near by. Thank you.
