Luigi's 30th Anniversary Celebration (The Year of Luigi) at Nintendo World

2:05-2:14 I am just seeing this video three years later and I can't express the joy I feel right now that my artwork was actually recognized here. I was at my grandmother's house the night before and worked on this project overnight. I didn't get any sleep; nothing but dedication. I only had about an hour before my friend and me had to leave for the train (he wasn't with me that night but my Mom and I went to pick him up) I had this project and a card for Charles Martinet shaped as Luigi's face. I got the chance to speak to him as Mario and Luigi for the very first time that day, August 11, 2013 and it was the best experience I ever had when I was 17. The Nintendo World staff saw that I wanted my project to be seen by the manager but sadly I had just missed him that day. I went to Five Guys across the street for lunch. They told me that they were going to do something with my artwork and hoped that I go far with it someday. Just seeing this now, this has probably been one of the greatest moments of this year currently. I held it up high for everyone to see. I still have that project in my room (if my Mom didn't misplace it somewhere -.-) Thank you oh so very much.
