Ghosts are normally seen as bad because they violate the mind when they possess people, but these ghosts don't even do that. In fact, the "worst" thing they do to their enemies is to immortalize and preserve them for all of eternity as a beautiful painting! Meanwhile, the living folks *are* running around possessing people, killing animals, wrecking up the place, destroying dead souls by beating them with their friends' corpses, and "collecting" sentient beings to imprison them and study them!
