Props to the uploader, this is a great highlight video. Luka is playing like a straight up beast...at the age of 18 he's already putting up godly numbers (20.5 PPG (50% FG & 86% FT), 6.1 RPG, 4.4 APG in 28 MPG) in the 2nd best league in the world and pretty much singlehandedly carrying his team. And don't forget European basketball is played at a much slower tempo, couple that with 10 minute quarters and you rarely get to see a team score 100 points, meaning every statistical category fades in comparison to that of the NBA (for example the best rebounder in the league averages 8.1 RPG, the best assister 7.9 APG) He also won gold at Eurobasket 2017 with Slovenia (who've never made it to the finals before) and along with Dragič pretty much carried most of the work load and was also named into the 1st team of the tournament. And I know Dončič is white, and European, and I'm not dismissing any college/high school prospect by saying this but what most people fail to take into account is that he's doing all of this while playing against grown men, veterans (in the Euros against NBA players as well), not against kids his age. His father, a former basketball player himself also instilled a great work ethic into him from a very young age so if you take his enormous talent into account and couple it with the fact that he's a very hard worker and a great student of the game there's really only one way he can go, and that's up. Whether he becomes the #1 draft pick or not remains to be seen, at the end of the day the team that gets the #1 pick will choose whoever is a better fit so he can go anywhere from 1st to 4th. Regardless though, one thing's for sure, whichever team ends up drafting him will be getting the real deal.

Since he's the number one prospect this year and someone of that skill level he has a rare opportunity to be a star in just the euro league and improve the overall play there.
