He actually gets more focused the tougher the challenge. Look up his career 3pt% on catch and shoots vs step-backs. You'd think the later was worse, but it's actually closer to 37% vs around 33% on catch and shoot. His 3pt% is also really interesting showing his % going up till he has 6+ dribbles.
