As a Greek I would like to express our admiration and respect to Luka who is a legend inside and outside the court. He was obviously tired as an outcome of so many games in NBA, but he is definitely one of the very best players today in basketball worldwide. Hope we will have the honour to applause him again one day, all my respect to the Slovenian team and country.

Potentially* the best player in the world next June & going forward. I get trapped in the game of comparisons & he does have resemblances to many greats. Despite that, he is still one of one. My only complaint is his inconsistent attitude on defense. I watched the entirety of that Mavs run to the Finals. The things that make me believe he is this new era’s greatest he stopped doing in the finals.. & that is highly due to matchup but also due to his lack of consistency & effort on defense. our team is just not competetive as it was 4yrs ago in Japan. Shame France beat us in semifinals for 1point. For 3rd place game, day later i think our guys were totaly toasted (tired) and Australia beat us pretty bad. I almost gone crazy that day when France beat uss, i know that was the huge chance, for winnig a medal, i dont belive that will repeat..
