This band ... I can not tell you verbally what they did for me during the most difficult time in my life . A Daddy’s little girl lost her Dad . It’s was the music that got me through it . He was the toughest military man I will ever know . No pain meds . He refused . I pray every day that his grace and strength , he gave me one ounce of that . I pray every day he hears me still talking to him . Thank you for your gift .

When Lukas talks about his daughter it reminds me of Kurt Cobain back when he did interviews with similar questions. In fact Lukas is quite similar to Kurt, but a more grounded switched on version. Loving the music. Despite his great success and fame, I’ve only just started listening to him in depth properly. Very impressed. ✌️

I love 7 years so much i decided to wether lucas really stands for those lyrics or is it just another song for him and you can always tell from interviews wether the artist is genuine or not and after watching this I gained so much love and respect for lucas

Go watch Todd In the Shadows. He does a review of "7 Years" and points out just how shallow, selfish, egotistical and pathetic this song and in fact the singer himself is.

I hate this guy. I hate his attitude. He sounds cocky and conceited and his song seven years is the most corny piece of cheesy and sugary cliched crap I have ever heard. His ego is spacious and gross The song makes us all feel bad. How many of us can folllow 'the plan'. All of us fall off it. I certainly didn't make it. I have no kids. I fucked it all up. I am jealous of him too, for boasting about his arrival, as it resonates with a few people I know, who use their family status as social proof. It hurts. I know he is a decent guy. A smart guy too, but it depresses me. His voice is wonderful too. Depressing.
