Luke  

The gospel narrative of the birth of John the Baptist is a joyous reminder to us that God is always at work in our lives for our good and His glory. Jesus is our joy and the only source of all sustaining grace.
This narrative is primarily about God.
-The Lord is Purposeful, He Never Abandons His Promises (1:57, 58).
-The Lord Produces Faith in His People (1:59-63).
-The Lord is Powerful to Prepare Glory to His Name (1:64-66).
