I just love how he showed his feelings for her through thoughtful actions whether its santa claus pancakes, giving her a ride, helping her find a baby chick, helping her with Rory problems, etc. For her he's a softy for her despite the fact that he's usually a grump. I mean a hot hunky grump, but yeah. So cute I love it.
Ice hug has to be my favourite out of all of them. She hugs him and his face and arms goes from 'oh hug with an arm full of ice' to 'god quick, savour the moment'.
She SO wanted him to kiss her! Anyone notice how jealous Lorelai was of Luke in S1? Just the THOUGHT of Rachel got to her! I always see Luke was pining for Lorelai, but she was in denial about her feelings for him for most of the first season. When she FINALLY admitted to Emily she maybe had feelings I was like AH HA! The original plan was for Luke and Lorelai to get together in the very last episode of the show. The writer confirmed this. Due to high demand for them, they ended up making it happen sooner.
I just love how they are around eachother like there moods never change and they always feel at home with eachother and he was always in love with her and she didn’t wanna loose him so she put her feelings aside and finally realized what a great guy he was for HER and they are soulmates and this video is beautiful ❤️
The ironic part of this show is that Luke and Lorelai almost had more cute sweet moments before they actually dated. They had so many unofficial dates before they dated no wonder people like Emily and Rachel thought they were dating.
I always thought Luke looked like a raggedy version of the Prince from Beauty and the Beast when he turns back :D Especially in the "you look nice" bit
I have rewatched the series a few weeks ago. And when I see this beautiful compilation, I think I have to return to the beginning and rewatch it again. Or maybe to stay in the season 1, than jump to the season 4 and to the beginning of the season 5 and then to the very end of the season 7.

I finished 7 seasons 2 times through. Plus the revival. I also listen to gilmore girls songs and la la songs all the time and drive my friendd crazy with my constant gilmore girls references and obsessions. 😍
It wasn’t until this video that I realized how much my husband is like Luke. I remember when Gilmore girls came out. I’m not 34. I always loved Luke. Still do.

They had so many moments in season 1 and they genuinely looked like they were into each other, you'd think they'd get together in season 2 ...but NO they had to milk it and get us to wait FOUR SEASON for then to just frigging kiss!!!
question, why did it take so long for ASP and Co, to get them together only to split them up (currently up to S5 on dvd so no spoilers please)? I mean it's obvious from the very beginning the two of them are meant for each other. stupid people ruining something potentially awesome just in the name of ratings.
