yep, cos that's realistic. that's always how it goes when a friendship goes to that next level... after all the flirting time that both were at times unaware of their feelings
@@AuntieNita74 If it was a part of the script it was a cute sign of Luke's feelings for Lorelai coming closer to the surface and if it wasn't then it worked out well because it's really sweet.
I love how in the beginning they say "At least you got married" and "At least you had a kid" because by the end of the series they both did those things before they got back together, it was kinda like they couldn't really be together until they were on equal terms
the earings meant so much more than just a gift. his sister gave them to him and said he could give them to his wife. so instead of giving them to his wife he gave them to lorelai
What, no self-help tape moment? It's one of the best moments in the series. "Whoa." I'll be darned if Luke and Lorelai don't have one of the best first kisses ever. And I love that you can hear Kirk at the end.
I used to watch reruns of the show with my wife who was a big fan from the time the show started, I always found it relaxing to watch after dinner. Then one night UPtV ran the last 3 episodes of season 4 where Luke finally decides to and does make his move on Lorelai. Have to say, those episodes were so tastefully done, and really pulled me in. Luke hears the tape, realizes who he's meant to be with and suddenly has this air of happiness about him. And watching Lorelai get all flustered when Luke gives her the flowers is very funny. Kudos to the writers, producers and actors for bringing good old fashioned romance back to TV!
Only in Gilmore Girls can someone walk into a door, in the middle of a room far far away from a doorway (y) Aw man, Luke's "Will you just stand still?" was so annoyed & gruff, so cute. Gosh, it took forever for them to get it right, blind to the fact that them together is the definition of right. Well, at least they made it in the end xD
He calls her by her name a few times throughout the show when he really needs to get her attention or something, but usually just says "hey" whereas lorelai says his name a lot
I think your last 5 moments from season 4 are by FAR the best L&L moments of the entire series! Thanks for sharing all these! I never get tired of watching them over and over again!
Lauren Graham's beautiful in general but she looks soooooo beautiful in the earrings scene. And I love Luke. I wish he was MY friend/lover/knight in shining armor, lol.
She hoped in this moment it is a gift from Luke, not from Liz. They oscilated in this moment between flirting and just two friends talk. Lorelai was seeing Jason, Luke was technically still married to Nicole, as far as I remember, but they always had this tension and they did flirt with each other.
God i love when he does that snort thing he does. I notice he does it in real life too in interviews. Its so dorky but cute dorky. It make me smile. Ihe does it sometimes when he chuckles. He did when he is drunk Luke. Omg 🤪😜😍😍😍😍
Lorelai: Do you think I can do this? Luke: I already told you you could do this, and I already told you that I told you you could do this Love how she values his opinion and that he has so much confidence in her :)
I like that she said that she sees dr Phil books in there future and he ends up reading a bunch of relationship books which pretty much gave him the inspiration to go after her in the first place (almost as if she wanted that) I love them and how uncomfortable he gets when he was around her before they dated just because he was so flustered ❤️
he and nicole got married when they went on a cruise together- i think the end of season 3 and then came back and told lorelai he got married but they're getting a divorce- beginning of season 4
I think when he moved and she said she had to adjust to his moving.. I have had that feeling before.. I totally understand. it wasnt the same as him being there all the time.. ❤
The I'm failing bit is what rory said in season 8 to jess, difference she said in humor with a drink in her hand, but I think this shows that jess is in rory's future
I love them I hate that there first kiss happens at the same time as Rory & Dean though.. I can never be as happy as I want to be about it bc I know that’s happening.
Thanks for posting..miss Gilmore Girls though I was hoping to hear this quote from 4.6 : Lorelai: Cheeseburger, onion rings, and a list of people who killed their parents and got away with it. I'm looking for heroes
