Have you ever heard the original version by Roberta Flack? His version gains from the video of him singing. Roberta was unseen, but her amazing voice alone projected the emotion, love, and infatuation of the song. Clint Eastwood seldom gets the credit for changin a so-so song into a legacy song. He had her slow the song down, and give it the characteristics I listed previously.

@@blackclavish That is probably true but you can tell he was still actually singing. And the audio isn't what the OP was pointing out. Anything filmed in a single take is extremely difficult from a practical standpoint. Even something as small as a music video.

I cried. I remember when Roberta Flack sang it in the 70's and I was 10. I understood how powerful the lyrics were even then but my parents were music enthusiasts.
