I just feel this is for all people who have suffered from having a mentally and acfective absent mother/ father (or both) we have screamed for help, but not anymore. We had enough, now is time to move on, and nothing really hurts anymore, we learned how to be strong and loved without them.

This is the first song I heard from the album and it just tore me apart. Already in the second 05 I had a lump in my throat. 6 months ago I lost my mother, after being 3 in the hospital, taking care of her every night, listening to 5sos trying to cheer me up, watching old videos of the boys to be able to distract myself a little from the bitterness I was experiencing. I spent my 18th birthday in a hospital with her, I spent the last Christmas with her although the next day she returned to the hospital, indirectly I think we knew that we would not spend another Christmas together. This song makes me think about how we can have everything and the second, not have anything. Every night I dream of her with her, I see her in my dreams and I am afraid of one day forgetting her face, her voice. I'm so lost lately that I feel like nothing makes sense without her, but here I am, day after day getting out of this fucking bed, going to study, while listening to my boys, trying to live. So thank you Luke, thank you for your album, thank you 5sos, thank you for giving me life.
