Telling him fuck you when he had 0 energy and then winging a haymaker in was great. Legendary fight. These “professionals” need to start training at high elevation though. I thought that they would learn after cardio cain gassed in Mexico.

When you really look at his record, his only losses are Michael Bisping, Jan Błachowicz, Yoel Romero, and after years of layoff losing Paulo Costa by decision, which is not even a shame.

Everybody's respect and love for Luke shows. This has got to be one of the best Luke moments. Even for a new MMA fan like me who has only seen bad moments of Rockhold before this fight, he really showed what this sport is all about and what's so good about it. Thanks Luke Rockhold, have a great life.

Did everything he could, his cardio took the match away from him in the first round, Paulo kept pressing forward, Luke had more weapons in his arsenal, but got so tired in the first round itself.Gave it his all,it was heartbreaking to see him 😢

The Luke Rockhold that fought against Weidman was one of the scariest middleweights of all time no doubt. If he had carried that form throughout his career. I think he would be considered right next to Anderson Silva or potentially even surpass him. Just a shame that things happened how they have, whether it be his dedication and love for the sport or just having confidence issues. Would be unreal to see him and bisping commentate together. I believe they get on these days.

A lot of people were saying it was his "conditioning" but Luke knows better than anyone he just got old... I'm sure he remembers a time when he could have dodged half those punches and when those same kicks were Ko'ing people and when he didn't have all those old injuries that keep coming back... We'll miss you Luke thanks for all the great fights.....

Age and the altitude was the reason why Luke's cardio was so bad. In fact altitude was the reason why so many fighters were gassing out so quickly, even Costa was gassed.

@@fazalhanafichaudhry3947 I've been looking for someone else to spot this, everyone is banging on about his cardio but his nose was absolutely busted from the first round. when it's pouring that much blood down the back of your throat it's hard to breathe and breathing through your mouth becomes the only option
