I agree. TLJ and TROS had really destroyed his character. And the new Trilogy have really killed the entire Skywalker family members to a point their bloodlines lead an end. @MegaJf16 Even though I agree that studios need this kind of investment to really shine, the other user is correct, EA seems to get all the praise for when Battlefront 2 is doing well, although they did screw up with the microtransactions, considering the story itself has nothing to do with EA it doesn't make sense to praise them specifically for that. That's like praising a film studio when it's the production team, writing staff, director and actors that did all the hard work that we see pay off. Praise EA for hiring DICE and getting rid of microtransactions. Everything else is all on DICE and the tireless devs that are constantly fixing or implementing new things to the game that fans ask for.

EA got shit for it but Bioware still got the blame too, I mean look at Mass Effect Andromeda, that's an EA game yet almost everyone blamed Bioware even though the Bioware team that worked on it weren't the main Bioware development team, it was the Montreal branch, causing them to merge with a different development studio the same year. EA didn't get the blame for that. This has gone largely off subject but you took the topic there, I don't get why you want to desperately avoid admitting that EA had nothing to do with BF2's single player campaign.

What's crazy is that nearly all of the expanded universe material (comics, novels, games) have a better grasp of how to tell a Star Wars story better than the people writing these multi-million dollar films. It's baffling how badly they screwed up this new trilogy.

@@kasF I wouldn't say "all of the expanded universe" has better writing than disney's Lucasfilm, there where pretty crappy stories and characters in there, it just so happens that the good ones where good not only because of them being "cool" but because of them advancing the characters we love while introducing new interesting ones. Disney's Rebels and The Mandalorian are good shows. Rebels is clearly aimed for kids but does explore the mythology in a very cool way, specially regarding the force, it also respects the legacy characters and gives us adults enough "meat" to savor while the "pew pew" stuff happens. Mando is geared towards an older audience and it also cares very much about lore building and the overall "feel" of being in the SW universe. Needless to say, both have Filoni as a producer, which I think should be the one in charge of the overall creative and decision making going forward within Disney's Star Wars, he is Lucas's padawan after all.

Most of the movies from that time didn't have good fight scenes, plus Obi-Wan was too old to fight, but most of it is because the time the movie was made. As for Luke, I was fine with the idea of having Luke isolate himself from the world because he felt he failed as his own nephew turned to the darkside and killed his students, but having Luke be the reason Ben turned to the darkside is a huge bad idea. The idea could have been fixed if Luke wnet to face Ben personally. Yes, Luke is in his 60's, but he is a powerful Jedi and is more experienced than Ben. As for Rise of Skywalker, when Luke and Lando went look for Exogol, it was 20 years before, not 6 years before.

Keep crying that your favorite cereal box hero actually had an arc and growth that breathed new life into a character with little left to develop. You get to see a Jedi Luke at the end of the movie anyway.

Abrams should have kept the original plan of making Rey Han and Leia's daughter. There a Q&A event in which him and Terrio were part of and he revealed, when addressing Rey and Ben relationship, that the original was to having them being siblings.

In this game relate to episode 7 , del know about Map to Skywalker so kylo come to him and ask where lor San teka is then episode 7 star . This game also have battle of jakku where rey parents abandoned her . One more thing how they know how to beat Dreadnaught because character gathering info and send to leia . Zoo Wemama - Well, there is the Clone Wars TV series that tells more stories about Anakin and his comrades during the war. It’s definitely worth giving a watch if you’re looking for more Anakin adventures. It’s also some of his best stuff in the franchise.

Luke probably also had to travel all over the galaxy to gather knowledge and items needed for a new Jedi Academy. And after that he goes on missions with his students. There's really so much you can do with him. But Disney just stuck him on the same island for 3 movies.
