0:15 I love how this officer doesn't engage in any evasive maneuvers. Likely was thinking "ah these are just storm-troopers, we don't actually train them to shoot."
He is the original chosen one. Lucas has changed his stance a thousand times but fact remains when Star Wars was first written and all the way through the original trilogy Luke was the chosen one. He resisted the emperor saving Anakin and thereby ending Palps. All of this with little training and being told by Yoda and Obi that it wasn’t possible. List of feats - destroyed the Death Star - killed a Wampa - killed a Rancor - destroyed the Hutt Cartel - Manhandled Vader - resisted the emperor which Anakin could not - brought Anakin back to the lightside - saved Grogu
No Anakin is the chosen one, he always was. Lucas said from the beginning that he was, they wanted it to be a topic of debate but it was always Anakin.
@@jdturkdrcox Yes. Anakin brought balance to the force by eliminating both jedi and sith, and bringing Luke, master of both the light and dark sides of the force.
@@Bene_Singularis not really, I mean Anakin IS the chosen one but balance is achieved after the death of the sith. The Jedi do not produce imbalance on the force, the dark side does. The moment Anakin kills Palpatine the prophecy is fulfilled. Of course that means nothing now because "Somehow Palpatine returned"
@@felyandres5449 Balance is about not being one-sided. And forget Disney's trash, there's no such thing in Star Wars. Anakin destroyed everything on both sides then was the key for his successor Luke to be the first Grey Jedi. A jedi defeated a sith with his rage, then that sith saved that jedi with his compassion. That's the moment when the prophecy of the one who would bring balance to the Force was complete.
Luke has 36 confirmed kills. However, when you account him blowing up the Death Star, it is likely to be much higher. Hundreds of thousands? Millions? Luke was a beast.
We have the knowledge that Vader was maybe going easy on luke because of him being his son but could you imagine how big of a reputation luke probably got as the rebel who survived so many fights with Vader
Even though I love Luke’s fights from the Original Trilogy, his fighting style was kind of chaotic, wild, and unrefined (I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. It’s actually really good.).I would love to see a fight where Luke is able to fight at the level of the prequel Jedi.( particularly to the level of the Obi Wan vs Anakin fight) I really would like to be able to see him fight with all the he fancy spins of the prequels (especially Anakin’s signature spin move) and would like to see him utilize lots of the skill, force powers, athletics, and the acrobatics of the prequels to his fights.
@@DarthEdits248 Yeah, I remember all the epic boxing matches where one guy just dodges hits, never throws one and then says "See ya around, kid". Worth every penny. Take your medication and come back to reality. Fight verb take part in a violent struggle involving the EXCHANGE of physical blows or the use of weapons.
I don't want to be that guy but every time someone tells me all Rey does is swing her saber like a baseball bat I just wonder if they even watched Luke in the original trilogy (not counting the empire strikes back movie Luke vs Vader)
it's a comp, the ATAT's were miniatures and moves using stop motion. Your right based on the perspective it should've taken him longer to hit the ground.
Honestly after all these years. Episodes one, two, and three has to be my favorite trilogy out of all 9 movies. The original just looks old and trash and the new ones are just horrible stories. Idk to each their own tho
