Welcome back to the Channel!
Today we are looking at the Lumens Factory Scout light bodies and also their awesome head and tail cap options. I have been using their products for a very long time, easily 10 years and the quality and customer service is top notch. After recently getting a KM2-C vampire Scout head I decided that I didn't want a simple off the shelf option. I like to do my own thing and have most options than I need. The old saying of "one is none, two is one" Well in my case their bodies allow for more battery options and I wanted to move away from Cr123 and continue to use the 18350/18650 options. Plus I didn't want the Surefire Dual fuel body as this doesn't give the flexibility and mod-ability that I expect in my custom flashlights.
A shorter video for you all showcasing their great products in the E series/Scout range. The awesome head allows the use of any p60 drop ins and if you already have custom drop ins like me, this just geeked me out and I had to have some.
In any case an awesome product, their bodies are great replacements for the old tired M300 and M600 you may already have. But they also do other products for Surefire and other types of flashlights.
Check them out, not only great value but great quality and have stood the test of time.
Thanks for checking out this review. I really hope it helps you.

If the bodies are bored to accept 18mm rechargeable cells yet still fit standard E-series heads, how thin are the threads on the bezel end of the body? There can't be much material left?!

Hi, they seem solid. But in any case they are the same spec as Surefire otherwise they wouldnt accept the oem fitment.

Only non protected cells fit, not the larger protected 18650

I understand there is around 1-2mm diameter difference, likely to be due to increased strength. But in any case lots of people have bored flashlights with zero issues, myself included

Its inside the body it & allows you to use smaller batteries with no rattle. lts delrin battery sleeve. These bodies are pre bored for unprotected 18650 cells. It's cool
