Only thing that chances is the era of the tracks and what they chat about exp: 80s to the 9tz was a big step in the dancehall styles and the way raggae dancehall was changed is that is no more badboy tune but bad man, & chatty mouth styles with more stories to the track! then at the end of the 90s to 2002 a massive change or a big shift in direction was upon us with new bashment styles hitting more and more tracks so good that tunes became great tunes it then shifted again around 03 to 08 with more meaning of lifestyles and the way ragga artists saw ppl's lives and/or saw how we were (as one) living within the system!!! So they put these meanings and messages into there music creating a whole new dynamic and dynasty of tunes that will out live us all, This creating a 1life 1love unity and strength style one drop riddims & songs that had the whole world hooked on raggae muzik so there are 1 in ever 5 ppl who listen to raggae as to 1 in every 800k from the 85to89, 96to99 02to08> to now still going and more white artists singing more than ever from uk,us,France,Germany,Italy all the way back to JA as all ppl associated raggae in the late 80s and 90s was 1st bob Marley then UB40 the biggest raggae band ever and what they achieved was staggering TBF! they are and always will be great, But just like Bruce lee done for the Asians/Chinese (made that bridge from east to west) bob done it to unify white/black to be as one so on that note without Bob & Bruce where would be no Jason strathan or van dam or mix marshal arts on TVs or in movies and snow, collie budds mity mystic m&m UB40 etc: etc: etc: would not be in our to or radio stations where we live to listen to great music and watch great tv making us all love the same things just in different ways! Just thought I'd share my thoughts on this as it's so big like raggae it's in a league of its own just like us!
