7:26 His beam comes from the Gem on his helmet so kind of like a Cyclops beam, fun fact, when fighting arkhan the black, he destroyed his clones at the same time by throwing a crystal in the air and shooting his beam through it, refracting it to hit all the targets
When he became a super swordmaster of Hoeth, he didn't wear the talisman and wasn't able to cast spells. So "lorewise", I'd say without magic. I'm happy with what he is (a powerful lonely warrior) and what he is not (a commander). He has no synergy with the soldiers in the army. I would like him to be a bit more deadly (he dishes less damage than 10 bladelords for nearly the same price) or tanky. Protection against mortal wounds? -1 to be hit for being so shiny? Change the rule for celennari blade: better rend instead of potential better damage (which hero/monster cares about -1 rend attacks?) ?
Shame I can’t catch this live, but will defiantly see it in the morning, one of the few foot assassins actually worth a damn, and an amazing model, one of my favourite LRL models to date

I love the idea of him being a caster, however, his warscroll spell would have to be incredible to tempt you away from casting Protection of Hysh every time.
Hello Jonas, I ‘m so happy you made a new video! 🎉just a few thoughts I’d like to add. Because of his armor hability I think using Eltharion as a big hero or monster duelist is the way he shines, I place him in the middle of the board so he can react to my opponent action. You also need to have him charge so he gets -1 to wound and additional mortals on his fangsword. So I like to hang back a little, let them come a little bit closer and speed of hysh and charge him. Big hero or mosters that hit hard are more affected by his armor hability. For me he killed Kragnos and big mosters many times. Last thing plz used the old music, i don’t know why but I loved it and it made your bideo so zen! 😂
The music is the same! Or at least.. the same it's been for several months now. At the very early videos we did use the same music, but it was the same one AosCoach used and I didn't want to encroach on his territory. That just felt wrong. Maybe this time the music wasn't loud enough? Or is it just that this soundtrack annoys you a little? 😉 Thanks for adding more info to the video by the way! It's funny, because whenever I have him face-off against big things, he just doesn't do much at all. Guess Eltharion likes you better than me 😁
I don’t think Eltharion should have magic, he doesn’t have a corporeal form and he can’t cast magic in the lore either, he is held together by magic, but shouldn’t use magic himself, it doesn’t really make sense
Fair points. Of course they'd have to adjust the lore to it. I didn't mean he should suddenly be able to cast. It's just something that I miss from the WFB I think 🤔
