I have had my GT MINI 5.0 for about a month now. I purchased it on sale when it first came out but I wouldn't pay a penny more. However, if they fix the buggy UI or add Anduril, and regulate higher sustained output I think they would then have a definite winner. Keep up the great reviews!
Lumintop is selling the GT mini 50% off now, preety Good Deal for the Quality but still, I like my L21b Sft40, about same zise but 8/10 minutes on turbo ✌️✌️
@@PiercingTheDarkness yeah but they’re not the same, so saying 5.0 would get you different answers to certain questions than saying gt mini.. which takes a 18650 lol
Appreciate your review as always, I really feel like these company's like Lumintop should put out a better torch for their customers, i'll give this one a miss!!
I feel like they tried to copy the Anduril firmware with how you can ramp up and down, it just shouldn't loop around and change the mode order. Without the use of NarsilM and Anduril their UIs are lacking, badly.
I received mine yesterday and being totally disappointed!! The UI is horrible, the body is much too thick in diameter for a 21700 light, looks and feels almost like a 26650 body, the weight balance is messed up and the on/off switching has latency, WTF!!? When I ordered it, I hoped it would be even better than the old GT Mini, but the old one is much more useful: it´s more compact and has the better UI; by far. I will keep it anyway as a part of my flashlight collection as a BAD example.
Strange, I thought the weight balance was perfectly centered on mine. It would balance on my finger just below or at the switch. I sold it after the video.
Electronic switch. I wouldn't focus on the sound when I've gotten rid of a couple unwanted frequencies in the EQ and also have a noise reduction filter on.
