Lumion 11 vs Corona-Renderer 6 Render Comparison, Which one is better and faster? 

I feel like the lumion textures and rendering effects could be greatly improved to a point of getting same quality if not better for a shorter time. Especially with lumion 11 where they added displacement maps on materials.

Well, it can be seen that you did not apply the textures correctly in lumion, you should have generated the PBR separately, it is different from corona, and not to mention the basic material configuration, that's why the ambient occlusion generates you

For my office job.. speed is more important than quality as the clients change the design often and go through multiple options. Only for final presentation and board prints do I make them ultra realisic and of high quality.

Corona is the best render engine on the market for architectural visualization. No other render engine will reach this quality. This engine has been developed only for rendering. The Global illumination, the light and shadows are outstanding. The release of 6.2 does produce even more photorealism. This needs of course more rendertime. But they improve the speed too. Lumion does still have no area shadows for area lights. Just for point lights. For this price, it is a shame. I asked for this feature since Lumion 8. It seems to me, that Act-3d is not able to handle this. A feature that C4D has since Cinema V5 in 1995. Corona is first class, Lumion is second class for high end. But: Lumion does have other positive features, that can be very useful. Innovative, Realtime, the content, the effects and of course animation. This happens very fast, and can produce very good results. I think, for exteriors Lumion is very good. For interiors not that much. There is Corona a perfect choice. If you do not have Corona (Max or C4D), than better use D5 render for interiors.

If u try hard on lumion it gives more realistic renders and with 11.5 its more more realistic if lumion continues to grow noone uses vray corona etc...Because time is money and i hate corona and corona virus

Interesting video but it seems to me that the textures have been improperly applied in Lumion.

Why does it take so long with Corona and Vray? I am creating my architecture portfolio and have both corona and Lumion. I want the portfolio to look really professional since I will be using that to get into a master program. Which one would you recommend?

Lumion should've been 5 stars render time and 5 easy to use, and lumion quality is actually great but corona should be 2 above.

Quality is MUCH better in Corona. For me quality is everything

in creepy hands even corona lools like scary movie. dont do that again. if u love lumion - thats ur choice, but pls... corona ultra realistic render in skillfull hands, lumion can't do same quality. there is nothing to talk about. u need much more to learn with Corona Render! i realy love lumion too, but used it only for video. for static - only corona, or Fstorm

Corona doesn't worth the render time the differences are not huge between the 2 software.

Lumion is the best for business. Time is money and clients don't want to wait a lot + both are the same render quality for pro users.

Lumion render time should've gotten 10stars, but at the end of the day corona's result is way better

you have to admit all those render softwares have no chance against Corona Renderer

Unreal engine 5 is faster than Lumion the quality is better than Corona!

You don't know Lumion, that's why Renders is not good, otherwise it will be Realistic
