Which method are you trying? The in-camera HDR or just the manual 3 bracketed shots? Have you made sure the drive dial (dial on the top left of the camera) is in multiple exposure mode?

@@MichaelRoninTV in camera. The pics look like crap. All gray and not lined up. The GH4is not a great camera, so its no surprise I guess.

Really? Mine used to come out pretty decent most of the time although I always preferred to do it out or camera using software

I think the gh4 can do up to 7 bracketed images. I think the amount of images it takes is somewhere in the menu. I no longer have this camera so I can't remember where it is in the menu though

Hi Robert :) Every photo is going to use different settings depending on the light, etc. If you learn exactly what each setting does (ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed) you will eventually understand what settings to use for certain scenarios and looks. Another great way to learn is to put the camera in auto mode and see what settings the camera uses to get the shot. I do have a video that explains all of those things but it's mainly focused around video, it's quite similar though. so i will stick with flat picture style for maximum dynamic range and color grading "pseudoHDR" in post. thank you
