Bo Kramer is an athlete playing Wheelchair Basketball for the Netherlands (Orange Lions)
She is a current Paralympic Gold medalist, European Champion and World Champion.
This is her story.
Bo was diagnosed with bone cancer aged 11 and needed major surgery on her legs. Her experience in conquering cancer has shaped her journey not just as an elite athlete, but in what she plans to do with her life. Bo just graduated university after studying to be a physiotherapist, and plans to continue her studies and complete a masters degree in child cancer research. She is also aiming to go for Gold again with the Orange Lions in the Paris 2024 Paralympics.
